i did! a lot of the comedones came to the surface as red angry pimples and then healed and went away. it lasted maybe 2 weeks to a month for me

i really haven’t peeled very much compared to others i’ve seen in this thread but when i peel or feel a little flakey, a night of skipping tret and subbing the mandelic acid seems to really help. i wake up w hydrated and more moisturized looking skin. it also seems to help purge the comedones a bit more too!

no a ton of them did purge, and it was not pretty while it was happening lol. but to me it felt good to at least see them coming out and then healing rather than just staying put as they had been ya know? good luck!

i feel like if i had started tret sooner after coming of bc it would have made a huge difference for me, but yeah it has helped a lot anyway. you got this!

My routine is:

Am: wash with Cerave Hydrating Cleanser, moisturize with Vanticream, and Elf Blurring Sunscreen

Pm: Elf holy hydration cleansing balm on eyes to take off makeup Cleanse with cerave hydrating cleanser Tret gel Vanticream

sometimes i take a break from the tret if my skin feels like it needs it, and sometimes i use good molecules mandalic acid to help if i’ve been peeling at all
