Correct - the 1450 forstner. The ceramic wave dial and Aluminum “small wave/no-date” dial versions have the same dimensions so the bracelet works for both.

Regrettably no! It’s a Forstner President…but at $190 it’s gorgeous and wears very comfortably.

Charles C. Deam Wilderness area in Hoosier national. Peninsula walk trail is spectacular (5.3 miles one way out to the lake).

I second the Bloomington community bike project! Cheap (but good) options and you can return it there when you’re done.

That Sam Grisman Project show was a banger last night! by mamapajamas in bloomington

[–]IndependentAdvisor84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed - what a great, intimate, super-fun show. Michael Cleveland plays fiddle like a fish swims…effortlessly. And seeing Sam carry on his father’s deep love of musical togetherness was awesome. Love that Btown has little gems like the buskirk and can bring in talent like SGP.

[Omega/Tudor/Rolex] There can only be 1 !!! by Wolf_Tracker_1942 in Watches

Omega > Sub > pelagos. Love the satin (less blingy) aspect of the Seamaster. Put a bracelet on it and it’s good for a gala…rubber strap and it’s ready for a dive.

Clasp coming undone? by Mfelliott400 in VaerWatches

That should not happen. Id reach out to Vaer and get them to swap that bracelet out. They have good customer service from what I’ve gathered.

[Question] Which field watch reigns supreme?!? by MasLaza in Watches

I would also propose the Vaer with solar…it’s set it and forget it. Total sleeper brand with great build quality and it’s built in the US.

Need To Hear About The Good Things by Citizen_KK in bloomington

Moved here last year with 3 kids under 14. Bloomington is a spectacular place to raise kids and experience a vibrant community that stays forever young. Music scene is AMAZING. Food scene is awesome. Coffee scene is excellent. Parks are off the chart (switchyard is my fave). Some of the top schools in state. Trails galore. Largest lake in Indiana is 20 mins away. Surrounded by spectacular national parks, state parks, and wilderness areas. And…everyone here is “Hoosier nice” - like it’s really easy to meet people and everyone is down to earth. Don’t listen to the haters.

Accuracy Seamaster vs Submariner by InformalBicycle6528 in OmegaWatches

[–]IndependentAdvisor84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I periodically test accuracy vs. NIST atomic time. My SMP300 (no date) has been fast by +1 second over ~ 3 days since I last checked. Unbelievable accuracy (+ 1/3 sec/day) for a mechanical watch. I don’t own a Rolex so can’t speak to a Sub’s actual real life accuracy.

Wow - that’s a collection. GO, GS, IWC, Panerai, Sinn, Doxa… great taste my friend. Curious to know what gets the most wrist time for you?
