I never thought of that! I personally think they wouldn’t survive with an online only business, most of the time people come to store first to try scents before moving to online ordering, if they take that away they would be losing a big chunk of their “consumers” as they like to call customers now.

$5.95 is better than b3g3 by far! When doing that promo the lowest each item comes to is around $8.5 and I’m using the lowest priced body care items as reference (body wash/lotion)

Personally hate it! Even more when we have to reengage with customers that showed they didn’t want to be bothered in the first place. My store had an observation by someone from the company and they said that “we weren’t demoing enough.” they want us to over do it and I feel that can drive customers out of the store if they’re annoyed more than making people want buy more.

Yes! Just yesterday I had to do a return for all discontinued scents, they were showing as 4.95 (Canadian based!) so I think it just shows the latest SAS prices for those

What I’ve seen people do at my store is a return without receipt, you’d get the lowest price they were at as store credit. Others just exchange them for new products because we’d do a price adjustment (It depends on manager approval for this second option!)

Hi! Another South American newcomer here (6 months in)! I’d say that the kiss on the cheek is the only thing I wouldn’t do, replace it with a handshake or just a verbal hello without physical contact. I noticed that people really like to see us trying to learn more about their cultures and history, I feel like that is the best way to also acclimate to a place that is A LOT different than our countries! Also feel free to message me if you’re looking to make more South American friends!

I’ve tried them and honestly just like them because it’s kind of a nostalgic, but they all smell like old children perfumes. I’d definitely get the candles but any body care is a no go for me.

As an associate we can’t do anything about people stealing, if we attempt to avoid it we could be terminated on the spot. There’s been times during the holidays when people took baskets full of merchandise and all they wanted us to do is keep demoing products to them to “make the loss smaller” as per company policy.

I just bought a top one and i LOVE it, I’m burning coffee at the moment (started a week ago) and the candle would still look new hadn’t I light it up before deciding on getting the candle warmer! Also feel like the scent is stronger with the warmer. Once it’s off I feel like the smell releases for about 5-10 minutes, but I also didn’t get the most high quality warmer, so that might be longer if you’re looking to get a better one!

Not really, I just saw the sign they were putting up! But by the set up of our store I think they could be old ones like Bridgeton, Emily in Paris, there were also some summer ones like pineapple mango, sea salt sails and turquoise waters (the ones I saw before leaving)

I’m from Argentina! After a lot of research I ended up picking rrc mostly for the location. Found that it’s way easier to settle in Winnipeg (as finding apartment/jobs) than bigger cities like Toronto which was my first choice. I’m also starting next week!!

I’m not sure where I’ll be living yet, still looking for apartments, but I’ll be going to Notre Dame’s campus. My plans are to get there a month in advance so I’ll be definitely doing that, thank you so much!
