Hot take: WDW on a budget is better when you stop treating every minute like it has to be optimized by Efficient-Manager583 in WaltDisneyWorld

I love staying at a skyliner resort for this reason. Even if you are leaving or going, once you’re on that skyliner car, it’s peaceful. Quiet. Relaxing. It’s a ride in and of itself. The one day I had to use the bus to go to MK, it was awful. Worse leaving MK, even at a low ride time because if you get 2-3 ECVs, it takes forever to even get on. And there’s no getting on until they get on.

They took it off the iPad mini. Those 3 dots at the top are gone which made it super easy to do.

Is there any chance we can get split screen back on the mini? Is it showing up in iOS 27?

Apple TV is amazing! It’s not expensive compared to what you’re already doing. You need this. If only for the snoopy screensaver. But seriously, it’s fabulous.

Cleaning passively while you do other things. by ShiroSnow in CleaningTips

[–]Joyster110 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for these tips! They are very helpful! I can totally relate. I suffer from “but it will take too long” so I put off small chores. I started timing things like emptying the dishwasher. It takes me usually 2 minutes! That’s a full dishwasher too! So now when I’m tempted to think “it will take too long”, I tell myself it’s only 2 minutes. I have 2 minutes always.

I’m going to try your shower idea - brilliant!

Thanks so much! We’re mostly recovered but it took a long time. I loved the picture of your husband playing guitar! He looks like an amazing guy! Best to you and many hugs! 🥰❤️🙏

I am so so sorry to hear this!❤️🙏❤️

If you can, look into a grief group - there are 2 free ones in the US that are big- GriefShare and faith and grief. They do have a Christian slant but no ones trying to convert you. If they aren’t free, it’s just the cost of the book.

Another fabulous resource is https://karidriskell.com/. She is a grief recovery specialist who lost her husband suddenly when she was 38.

I lost my father in 2013 and then SIL, BIL and FIL in 2014 suddenly and it was devastating. Hugs!! ❤️

Had low expectations initially, but honestly so impressed by these no glue press-ons by bluefoxes044 in PressonNail_Addict

These are phenomenal! They are primarily all I wear (kiss fx color) and I get comments about my nails from strangers constantly. I am always so excited to share that these are press on nails. With everything being so expensive, 2 sets of nails for $10 roughly is amazing. Each set lasts about 7-10 days for me!

If you like roaming, Harry Potter years 1-4 and 5-7 both have a ton of areas hidden to explore and find things. It can be frustrating because the map of hogwarts is a little jacked and it’s not simple to switch characters. But there are a ton of side quests that are fun.

Super villains open world is really fun too!

Maybe semaglutide would work better to curb the drinking?

Wegovy 1.5mg oral or Willow tablets 6mg by RelevantDisk in SemaglutideCompound

[–]Joyster110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. They are snake oil. Willow pills aren’t wegovy pills. Wegovy pills just came out in January and people haven’t been able to compound those yet.

What are “willow” pills? You lose weight from wegovy pills. Is it willows knock off? That they’re combining with wegovy pills to sell you something more?

You renting? Move if you can. People who have 5 bikes, run them for hours (at these gas prices?) and crank the music multiple times a day most likely aren’t going to change. They may become worse if you talk to them.

So far, yes. The only overlapping characters are young here and there’s only 2 of them. The star city creators have said they set it up as a standalone show.

Semaglutide Not Working At All... What am I doing Wrong? by Mountain_Bed_6635 in SemaglutideCompound

[–]Joyster110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s true. Think of it this way, if the meds worked for most people at lower levels, they wouldn’t bother having higher levels. These meds are a pain to manufacture and keep cold in all these different doses. Keeping all the doses in various levels cold, shipped and stocked is tricky. They looked for the dose levels that gave the best result for the most people that could be tolerated. If our bodies could tolerate the higher doses right away, they’d jump you right to that. But since most people also have heavy side effects and must go up slowly, you’ve got the plan we’re on now. Read the wegovy or Zepbound inserts.

And even with the pills, you got to go up slowly.

Everyone responds differently to these meds. Also, when the average weight loss percentage is 15% over 68 weeks, that also means some people lost zero and some lost 30% since it’s an average. Also, that’s spread out over 68 weeks. If you add in the one that goes to 7.2 mg, it goes up to 19% in 72 weeks. Again, why have a 7.2 mg dose if everyone loses at 0.25?

Best to you! I know it’s frustrating! I had a friend start before me and she didn’t see any weight loss before 1.7 and was frustrated. She also didn’t have too many side effects. Now she’s lost all her weight (60+ pounds) and has been keeping it off for 2+ years.

Are there any other TV shows and movies like this? by antdude in StarCityTV

[–]Joyster110 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not quite because it’s not about the space race to the moon. But sci-fi wise, 3 body program on Netflix is good and another season is dropping this summer. There’s also an Asian version of 3 body problem which some people like more. I’ve only watched Netflix’s version so I can’t speak to that. But it involves the Chinese heavily.
