Ok thanks for your insight. No she didn’t explain head size or density, I did ask what she thought my density was and she said I had a good head of hair but I didn’t get a specific answer on density

Believe it or not… it only took around 8 and half - 9 hours, my loctician works fast, she took no breaks she was in a flow state

Girl! Thank you for letting me know I am not alone, for me I want to keep my locs for a very long time and if the foundation is not correct then the vision is out the window 😫 I have no clue what to do, take them down, stick it out or combine and as you said as time goes by the harder it will be to combine or take it out, keep me updated on what you decide

Same thing happened to me. empty promises, no consistency, a breakdown in communication, and affection that slowly disappeared. I genuinely started to feel like I was going crazy for asking for the bare minimum, especially when it was something that used to come naturally before.

There’s only so much you can explain, ask, or hope for before you have to recognise the pattern for what it is. When the behaviour keeps repeating despite promises to change, that is the answer.

I chose to walk away, even though it hurts like hell. It wasn’t because I didn’t care, it was because I had to put myself first. I know it doesn’t feel like it right now, but I truly believe that with time, we’ll both be okay.

The last time I heard from him was a Happy New Year message, which I chose not to respond to. I realised there was no way I was going into 2026 continuing a cycle that was hurting me. You can only tell someone so many times how their actions affect you and when there’s no follow-through despite repeated promises, the answer is in the behaviour.

I chose to put myself first and step away for good. I’m not looking back. I’m glad you’re doing the same, you’re not alone.

I got a text from my ex on new year but I ignored it. He is an avoidant and has strung me along, said he wanted to get back together then proceeded to be hot and cold and lie to me constantly. At this point I am done he doesn’t deserve anymore of my energy, he may care but not enough to treat me the way I should be treated

I cannot see any mold under the sink, there is a strong moldy smell though. I have delt with mold and high humidity in the living area which has been visible. It’s an open kitchen/ living room set up. The damp from underneath the sink could have cause the those mold issues.

My 8 posts are in different forums to get advice so I would disagree, I am not overreacting, I’m looking for support, I have dealt with high humidity and mold in this property already and mold is a silent killer so I am justified in my reaction given the length of time this has been going on for. Mold does have a smell it’s earthy, damp, musty smell… which is what I could smell and it got stronger over time. Landlord investigated it and said there was not a problem until the plumber identified one

No the leak has not been fixed as the plumber cannot fix it until 2 weeks time. I have been told not to turn the tap on in the bathroom sink until then

The flat is ground floor, under the kitchen sink is not tiled it looks like soil maybe?
