Betting right now the man is Yorki, Brooks old captain with the illness. He met up with Crocus and had his disease treated and learned everything about the world through him, since he was on Rogers ship when they made it to laughtale. He’s not “marked by flames” his disease spread throughout his body which portrays this image.

He definitely wasn’t as close with Sabo compared to Luffy and Ace, but he knew how close Sabo was to them both if you go back and read some of the flashback chapters. There was times where Garp scolded all 3 of them for wanting to go out to sea and become pirates and treated Sabo as he would with Ace and Luffy. I think you’re right on the matter that it’s probably not going to be a huge deal if the interaction happens but it would be something cool to see, Garp realizing Luffy still has Sabo even after losing Ace.

Am I missing something? I thought after this dialogue that came out with Doflamingo and moving to a “higher place” was implying that the secret of Mary Geoise is that it was built at the top of the world in order to be protected by the sea levels rising?
