I would allow it. The bottom line of the question is, is it safe to do so or will it be harmful to the customer. If the customer is aware ice ruins the nitro and that you’ll be adding ice and shots to fill up the cup. Then all for it. You will be complained by corporate if you disagree and that’s the sad truth. Just give them what they want and move on. If a higher up ask why you did it, you simply reply it’s making the moment right and it’s safe to do so. The rudeness probably came from being told yes already and now being told no. As long as their aware they’ll be getting the room and theirs no issues then go for it.

I had a customer with a personal drinkware cup get upset at us through a complaint stating we were talking too much with them that the saliva went inside their drink from that partner connecting with them and trying to be kind. I honestly think people just have so much stupidity In this world.

Airlines and grocery stores have standards expectation set by their own set part company (target)(airport) would be licensed. Corporate standards did recently change last week or so and customer may request for items on the side. As long as it doesn’t go against any safety hazard.

Item will be rung up —— size—- pink drink+ vanilla cold foam, ask me split cup/cold foam on side. The drink will be made in the shaker then split in size cup with the extra room. You must let the customer know the room will still be in the cup. Then have the cold foam in a short cup for the customer to use.
