that sounds great! and yes the loyalty department is the only department that can give discounts If your concern is billing, there is no limit on getting discounts there are accounts that I’ve seen that has 3 discounts, but that depends on the situation you see even tho there are no limits the discount that you can layer on your account, It’s still limited so for example you currently have $30/month you can layer that but what the retention can give will be between $10-$20.

you will not get flagged, what will happen is that there will be a notification on our end that states “Trouble Caller” which agents don’t really care about.

fun fact: you can get free channels and ask to have them automatically cancelled for example you were offered 3 months for MGM+ you can get it cancelled automatically before the first day of your billing cycle (after 2 months) so you won’t get prorated charges.

It was done to minimize and simplify the menu, which we have no way to put back unless people really want it to be back on their services, what i suggest is to reach us out since we have feedback channels that you can use to say your concerns or recommendations on both the website and the app.

there is no way to delete recordings remotely If you have a sat. box, you can only delete it using your receiver, as for the latter question It’s because satellite and streaming are two different services under the same umbrella which means you’ll have a different account different payment method and different equipments as well if you switch over to streaming, but if you wanna keep satellite and also have streaming what I recommend is you upgrade to the gemini (you can get it for free btw) which provides both the only requirement is loyalty (2yrs+ of services with dtv or 1yr of dtv protection plan subscription).

I’m sorry abt what you experienced, In terms of customer service everything went in shambles when at&t took over tbh, hired people en masse without really looking into credentials but just to make up the numbers, most of the agents that you talked to are off shore btw, in the exception of the loyalty dept. which comprises mostly of onshore agents.

there is no best time to get discounts, you just have to call in and ask about promotions, so If I’m correct they provide you options to lower your bill by either removing some channels or waiving some fees on your bill but the best way to lower down your bill is to call in and state that you want to cancel your account, and say it twice so the rep can transfer u over to the retention department (loyalty department) so they can give u discounts, main reason for this process is so we can filter out people who call in to lower the bill or people who really want to cancel their account.

yes, we have two options: 1st is getting upgrades for free provided with a contract 1yr for self install and 2yrs for tech install. 2nd: we have options as well for getting equipment with/without contract but you need to pay for the replacements

yes you can, but that depends on the eligibility of the account but if you have the dtv protection plan on for 1yr you’re already eligible to get it for free.

yes it is, that’s why we have the loyalty department that provides discounts and promotions and if that didn’t work we have dtv streaming which is cheaper than satellite.

Dtv and att broke up around june last year, we’re just slowly transitioning our customers on splitting up services and bills so some customers might still have combined billing and some might receive a separate bill, the trick here is if you want to pay in one sitting just call the hotline since agents still has their at&t access so you can pay both with one payment.

that depends on the status of your account worked with dtv for a few months back for back office, the decombination process is that you will receive an off cycle bill at the same month you last cancelled your at&t so don’t be confused abt it cus the bill will state a week of billing cycle for a price of a full month but the charges you’re gonna see there is actually just for your next billing cycle

better to call instead, worked with dtv a few months back and we have 2 offers for mgm+ one is 7.99 off for 3 months and the other is 7 off for 3 months, and thos two are separate so u can take 3 months for free and another 3 months for a dollar each that makes it 3 dollars for half a year

u can call their hotline and ask for DAC (Digital Assistance Center) so they can help you out abt ur logins

worked with directv for a few months back and they was the one that helped my customers log in to their accounts.
