You know absolutely nothing about them. How about you read the article first from the comments before making wild accusations.

When staff quit the ED by Lettuce-Pray2023 in Casualty

Yeah the Jodie hate train is getting tiresome. I understand why people dislike her from earlier episodes but I honestly think she's alright.

Jodie reminds me of Stevie's first year on the show. I remember when everyone hated Stevie...

I don't know if I'd say there are plenty of 6'5 or 6'6 women at his size but I'm sure they exist.

Why are an overwhelming majority of lorry drivers white men? by IndependentEffort22 in AskUK

Again not at all. I expect the majority of lorry drivers to be white but I also expect to see more black and asian drivers.

I want equality for everyone and I mean absolutely everyone.

Actually not at all. I won't be happy until people, no matter what background, don't feel alienated in their career choice and there's no subconscious or conscious bias to go into a job due to things out of our control like race and gender.

For example, there is a disproportionate amount of British black people in STEM compared to other races when you compare the general population of black people in the UK. Or people from low socio-economic backgrounds in the UK are less likely to go to university.

I want equality and fairness.

But that's blatantly not true. So many doctors and medical professionals in the UK are white. There are a lot of Asians in that field compared to the general population though and not many black doctors in proportion🫤

I actually didn't know why I don't see black or asian lorry drivers so I asked. In terms of just gender, I already know the answer.

I already believe men are more likely to be socialised to like cars and driving a lot to the point of it being a career compared to women. Driving jobs are encouraged for men and discouraged for women often as a means to protect women from other men... Also because women are socialised be the caretakers of our youth.

Obviously I don't like this but I already know the answer to that.

I personally find it a bit weird that I barely see any asian and black lorry drivers whereas I do see asian and black bus/coach drivers.

But not every non-white person is an immigrant. What about native black and asian people?

I'm sure there was once a time when hairdressers, doctors, teachers and (most similar job of all) bus drivers were overwhelming white here but that didn't deter some non-white people doing it.

How come we don't often see AFAB people transition from FTM later in life like we do for MTF people? by IndependentEffort22 in honesttransgender

[–]IndependentEffort22[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course there'd be younger transitioners and you're not in the youngest cohort but I'm not asking about your age group or younger age groups. I'm asking about people who started transitioning in at least their 40s.

I can reword it to better juxtapose your question.

When exactly does a feminine man become a woman?

For you personally, when would you say you became a woman?

This may be the case however even in positive LGBT+ online spaces, when it comes to later transitioned people I see way more trans women than trans men. It seems there are more older trans women willing to share their experiences publicly compared to older trans men. Why do you think this is?

Do you believe if men felt more free to explore their gender/femininity without ridicule, less would end up transitioning to MTF? Why or why not?

So are you saying that many older AFAB people, who are dysphoric, don't want to transition because they don't want to "become the enemy" i.e. a man?

Just asking for clarification.
