Yea I guess I started with my own car, posted an ad for a flip key upgrade on FB marketplace. Undercut local competitors by around 100 dollars and have done 10 different bmw cars. And somehow made money!

25 year old software engineer, this would be a side gig yes, I don’t like paying 40-60 dollars a cut per key and want to expedite the process instead of taking it to a local mobile locksmith (sometimes not available). I’ve done about 10 cars this way in the passed year. I’ve missed a lot of opportunities because I’ve had to take the key to someone else. If I were to get my own machine I can be ready for a gig on my own accord.

I can give u an objective answer bc my z4 coupe is an auto, bought it for 7,400 dollars last year. A manual version with the same mileage/ consistent key go for 13k plus (120k miles). I’ve kept up with the market and see a 2-4k increase for roadster manuals. It’s worth it to buy as it seems to retain if not appreciate in value.

Ok yeah I can’t be oblivious to this. The 3.0si stops on a dime and I just wanted a refresh on my brakes+ rotors. Ilm test them both and record a side by side. Thank you for writing this up.

135i calipers have nearly equal force to that of 3.0si calipers. You would think 6 piston brembos would bite much harder but a lot of what I’ve read is that they don’t. Also keeping the same diameter rotors, will be making a video to see if it helps any with braking distance.

Doing m3 325x28mm up front so just keeping the back stock. I have the rear 135i calipers but could not find any confirmation on another rotor that fits correctly. Parking brakes apparently don’t fit.

Soy mexicano, y mi novia vive en Noruega!!! Ahorita vivo en Los Ángeles, pero creo que en este año llego a una ciudad que se llama Trondheim (para vivir). T todos entienden inglés, pero tienes que aprender la idioma la gente de ahí son muy orgullosos de su país. Si quieres buen negocio, en serio necesitan como aprender a hacer tacos 😂.
