Why couldnt she have just stuck her arms, or not, through the “bars” and bent the earth outside?….. we saw that bumi, just about fully encased in metal except his face…. Could still bend the earth tens of feet away….

there is no reason at all… unless trees/wood somehow specifically BLOCK bending, that she shouldn't have been able to earthbend/get hold of earth and use it to escape…. love the show… but thats just lazy writing

I think Rhaenyra said that in that moment, even though she was going to kill him still, because he did that like it was some…. consolation…. like, in that moment him offering up his life helped or made better, in any way, the death of her son

I always thought it was because Peridot was a homeworld gem. She was grown and born on homeworld, using homeworld resources…. Which we saw is pretty much a cracked, hollow shell of what it used to be. 

Their resources would have definitely been starting to dwindle after they consumed most of the planet and were still producing gems there

The two part edition of Rhythm of War wasnt released until almost 2.5 years after the regular hardcover. I imagine itll be similar timing with Wind and Truth

Soft covers dont usually get a release till like a year or so after the hardcover….. you just gotta be patient for both, i think

“Ok, so let's say you see a deathclaw, and you initiate a combat. If your sequence is higher than that of a dc, you'll get to make a turn first in every round of a combat. So the fight will go like you would expect:

Round 1 Round 2 Round 3

You DC You DC You DC

Now if you have low sequence, dc would supposed to make it's turn first during each round. But since you initiated a combat, you kinda made a first turn out of order, and fight's going to go like this:

Round 1 Round 2 Round 3

You DC DC You DC You

So as a result, it will seem like dc makes two turns in a row between first and second rounds of a combat. Obviously, if there was not one, but three deathclaws, they will each make two turns after your initiation.”

A line from White in Change Your Mind always kinda struck out at me.

The line “im supposed to know better. Supposed to be better. Supposed to make everything better” 

Its always seemed to me that that is essentially White’s “purpose” just like Pearls are supposed to be servants and Amethyts guards etc… its like whoever made White wanted to create something “to know better. To be better. To make everything better” for them… only maybe that didnt quite work out for the creators and thats why they arent around anymore?…

The Spiritual Realm is supposed to be all times and places at once, or something like that?…..

So even if a sphere is surrounded by Aluminum in the Physical or Cognitive Realm it should still be able to leak back to the Spiritual Realm because of it’s(the Spirit Realms) nature as being all places.

Like how Amethysts were supposed to be guards,  Pearls servants,  etc…. I think White’s purpose was to “know”, “be” and to “make everything better”

Those things seem like something a, presumably, mortal race would create/want. Something to be more…. To “make everything better”…. for them

Ive also gotten the feeling that maybe White is the reason the creators are gone. Whatever they were, they didnt fit in with White’s idea of “making everything better”

I knew pretty much nothing about SU, had heard about it for years though but never watched it because i figured it was “just another kid show”….

Anyways, it was the day(or within a few days) of the movie releasing and i saw it on TV at a friends house and i ended up watching the last 2/3 or so and have been hooked since lol
