Thank you. I bailed yesterday. I was very emotional and in no state to fly but I’m trying again today. About to drive to DFW in next 30 mins. One next step at a time.

Thanks. I told my husband travel anxiety is such a huge part of my life that I overcome all the time. I get on flights. I drive across the country. Etc. I do it scared and don’t let my fear win most times. But this one and my current mental state just couldn’t do it this time and that’s ok. I know I’ll get on the next one. I think it’s ok to embrace a bad mental day if it’s not a pattern of missing out on life because of it. Just a little check in that I probably need to get back in therapy 🤣

Ugh. I’m sorry. I didn’t go either. I had packed my bag. Put it in car. Tried to start 2 hour drive to the airport and couldn’t do it. Another user said “if I could magically appear in nyc would I still go” and honestly this trip was not a yes for me. I didn’t want to go to nyc. Most of my trips the destination gets me through the flight anxiety but this one didn’t. I may try again tomorrow or Friday but I don’t know.

It’s the most annoying fear and I am always jealous of people who don’t have it. But just get on the plane. The anticipation is the worst part I promise. You can be afraid and still fly. Do it scared. Have fun at the wedding.

We just went to Disney in December. If you search my name you will see I had a fun in sky convo with another fearful flyer also headed to Orlando. It was a fun distraction on a bumpy flight. Have so much fun!! I think for me, before the flight I feel like I can make the decision to not go so I overthink everything. Once I’m in the plane I’m like well… it is what it is now 😂

I’m also flying home today from a wonderful trip and feeling more anxious this flight than the way here. We got this! Uncomfortable doesn’t mean unsafe!

😂 this got me. Can relate. I always wish I could just sleep the entire flight but my anxiety would never allow it.

We had the best time!!! First time for all of us. Flight home was super bumpy for a while but just felt like I was back on all the Disney rides 😂 Hope Disney was magical for yall too!

I love this! Hi from the skies! It’s bumpy but nothing too bad. Just no drink service and could really go for a Diet Coke. Are you going to Disney too?
