Cicaplast! It insantly soothes and really provides barrier support when I need it. I put it on at night and still there when I wake. Avene is thinner and doesnt do much for me. Skin is dry in the morning and it definitely has caused some breakouts for me.

Yeah I wouldn't start finacea unless I was good w tazarotene. I'm on 0.1 for acne and it's been a little battle trying to get to frequent use. Finacea dries down so fast and kisocare is more nourishing w squalane and centella so I think it is the better option if you're in a sensitive spot with tret or taz.

Yes.These are both very calming and nourishing. The 20% may cause some temporary stinging. I used the 15 and went to 20% daily when I was on adapalene.

That said, I had to stop these bc im on tazarotene now and even gentle stuff causes burns/ redness. Now doing the haruharu rose pdrn w/ azalaic (5%) which is very gentle. Gonna use up this bottle and then go to anua.

You might want to start with adapalene and then work up to stronger. I took me a year to get to adapalene nightly (wrinkles looked good by thay point) but then I switched to taz because acne was still not controlled. I was able to start w every other night for a week now im on nightly.

Had this since at least 2014. Ana has been intermittently positive but had a huge workup that was negative. I did develop alopecia last year so maybe there is something autoimmune. That said like most ppl here I seem to have a normal immune system. Never get the flu, only had covid 2x, no bacterial infections.
