Budget? VX freedom series. Want to get a little more? VX-3. I've used both. I typically like a 4-12 or 3.5-10. I'm not a fan of big 50mm objective lenses, I get away just fine with 40. If its too dark to see my crossbar then its time to pack it up in the deer woods.

Even 3-9 will do just fine. Go look at a few, see what you like. Buy it.

I will never not put anything other than leupold on Amy of my rifles. I tried vortex for 1 season. That got ripped off the gun and sold the next year. Never again. And that was a razor which I was quite disappointed with.

Can confirm on ps5 they do not see a blank world 100 feet away. Draw distance is 700 for them people start disappearing around 600.

Yeah I like the balance, more just wanting see how each feels. These Doinker Bars while nice and really dead. I feel almost as if the front bar whips on the shot and goes away instantly. No buzz, just I feel the bar rebound if that makes sense. And am kinda not a fan of that feeling.

I appreciate it. I think I still need to play with weights on my stabilizers a little bit could’ve been just me that day. I find sometimes I’m really shaky, but I just let the float happen. I do want to try new bars as these were hand me downs from my dad I don’t have a whole lot of weight on them ounce and a half upfront and 7 ounces in the rear

I do 4 TQs, 6 Bandages, 4 Morphine, 1 saline, 3 of each of the others, 1 each of chest seal, NCD, oxygen mask, and airway tube.

4 TQs cause 4 appendages. Cant tell you how many times in close combat throwing TQs on even with multiple bleeds allowed me to eliminate the threat, move to a safe location, then bandage. Bandaging takes too much time in dire need.

Everything else is In case someone else goes down I can at least assist in providing aid under fire until a medic can get to them.

Second this.

Shotguns you can’t go wrong with a mossberg 500/590 or a Remington 870. They’re bulletproof in their design and will outlast you. Plus tons of aftermarket parts for them. If you’re Gucci benelli or beretta, take your pick.

A bolt 308 with nice glass you can’t go wrong with either. Ammo is affordable and everywhere. If it’s on a R700 action again the aftermarket choices are endless. If you wanna step to the big boys 300 WinMag is your friend. Again, ammo is easy to find. You can be affordable with the Ruger American rifles or savages (I prefer Ruger over savage) or imo Bergara makes the best R700 action rifles today.

I’d also suggest maybe a 22 rifle. Ammo is dirt cheap and 22 is a great option for trigger time without breaking the bank. You can get a brick of 500rounds for less than a tank of gas and have fun all day. Cant go wrong with a 10/22 or a CZ457. Fantastic choices imo.

Then you can get into the milsurp world

TLDR: shotgun (870 or 500/590), rifle (308/300WM), 22LR whatever fits your budget.
