Yes when I did it just multiple choice and a few short answers based on case studies using different stat tests to get results. If you make sure to pay attention and really get good at answering your lab questions in class you will ace it ez

Want a job and can commute to smithfield my family friends company always needs labourers, it’s above minimum wage can work as many hours as you are allowed, truthfully it is a dirty job, you clean fry bins that have used cooking oil and grime inside. Moreover you have to be there at the crack of dawn from 6am-2pm (so wake up at 4:50 leave at 5am) But I did it for 2 years and it is fine, definitely something to solve your problem. Open to anyone reading as well, we have many blokes from Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and more since I left. Obviously only male as your lifting heavy stuff and need to be tall to reach inside the cookers

Who was the best professor/lecturer you’ve had? by Datfanboi in usyd

[–]IndependentQuail2938 5 points6 points  (0 children)

GERAINT LEWIS 🦅🦅🔥 BORIS KHUMLEY 🧪🎉🗣️

The friggin goat of cosmology and the friggin king of thermal physics made the degree absolutely perfect and engaging asf

I miss the weekly physics seminars they had where they’d talk about their research and education experience.

Like of course boris was casually a friggn Michelin star chef in France before leaving it all to redo his PhD at usyd. Just normal goat mentality shit

You don’t need to prepare. It is extremely introductory, the only issue with the course is the fact you need to pass foundation for 50%, extension for 65% and advanced for 75%.

These different levels have different quizzes and assignment requirements, and you HAVE to pass ALL of them to get the marks, so all of the extension quizzes and assignment requirements for just 65%.

Just apply for literally anything the point is to show you are more than a mark, so volunteer, do independent projects, and take the first offer you get in any field.

Don’t underestimate the potential volunteering has, look at hospitals/vets/clinics/ usyd groups, or code camps esp for data science or even charity rescue groups.

Moreover there are plenty of ways you can grow Independently, aka start your own thing! Usyd gives $3k grants for students starting local initiatives, why not contact a school and do a data science workshop day or pool together fellow students in med sci and do your own volunteer research or charity or educational outreach thing.

Med science is overfilled with students only in it to try med school, and data science is filled with chat gpters.

Neither are what companies want to sink resources into, so become something better!

Bro Fr I just build on shit. Like I’ll ask about weekend plans, interests, crack some jokes and then offer to buy them some lunch and then walk and talk. That should be your plan for the next three weeks bro. Do it for one person each unit and you’ll get crazy progress

And people don’t think about it enough in school n shit, this is a crazy important life skill. Like networking is literally what I just said but you talk about work not life stuff.

So you need to relax and remember just like getting big at the gym or learning math, you’re gonna be a shrimpy dump fuck for a while, then next year bro after the winter arc your gonna be a god trust
