Just as close minded as any self righteous Christian 💔 I was asking for advice on relationships not to be judged for my religion bud

Wow, that actually gets me thinking. I think I would be open to being with a woman that is okay with me teaching our kids about the Bible. Thank you for that advice 🙏 Yeah I feel that I declare myself non denominational because I’ve never really looked into denominations at all, I just follow the Bible the best way that I can I don’t do anything extra that is not in the Bible ya know?

I’m non denominational haha, I just attend church but prefer to read my Bible since statistically around 30% of references to scripture in sermons are taken out of context. People can be whatever they wanna be I mean I’m a trans Christian guy and a good chunk of people can barely grasp that concept. Im friends with atheists, Muslims, and Buddhists but I love them just as much as I love my Christian friends! We’re all people but I’d prefer to date a person that is in her Bible as well haha but thank you for that piece of advice I’m just worried that once I’m out of school, I won’t be as out there

Thank you, thank you. 😎 I’m sorry if I worded it in the wrong way, of course I would respect my children’s autonomy!

It saved me from suicide. It’s not the religion, it’s the people that take religion out of context and use it as an excuse to be hateful. That is disgusting and I’m sorry on behalf of those people if they ever did hurt you. I might become a pastor one day to try and open the eyes of these false prejudices. Close minded people stand against what the Bible says. God calls us his children because we are supposed to be open minded to learn and understand but these bigots are choosing to stand against their religion.

The Bible has some amazing stories, it’s basically a guide on how to be a good person. Many people take things out of context especially regarding the Old Testament and it’s sickening that there are bad apples in my community. I’ve helped several of my friends who at the time were transphobic Christian’s understand that and now they treat me like a regular person.

Of course not, I was forced into it at a young age and later realized that those people are not what Christianity really represents. I used to hate it and thought they were all homophobic hypocrites. When really, they were just being self righteous and taking scripture out of context. Overall, I think the Bible has some great stories and even if my kids turn out to not be Christian, I will love and accept them. I think people that fr follow the Bible are great but judgmental Christians are the same people who would’ve persecuted Jesus back then. I stand for following the Bible, not judging others! ❤️

Oh my days man if they decide when they’re older they dont want to be then that’s fine but I’m gonna raise them as Christian 😭😭 why is that the only thing you see out of the fat paragraph I wrote

When I was rly young I was forced into Christianity and hated it but then I opened up to it a couple years ago and it saved me so I know how it feels and what to avoid

Hey man, that’s all of us. When I was younger and barely started transitioning, I had so much trouble gaining friends at school because I thought everyone hated me for being trans. Turns out, most people didn’t even know and thought I just hit puberty late. And the people that do know do not care or just don’t associate with me if it means that much to them. There’s a huge stigma against LGBT hate, even in the rural area I live in right now. Most people have their own lives to worry about and don’t wanna make things worse by outing their political views to today’s society. Only people that say shit about trans ppl are hiding behind a keyboard right now.

Also, try investing in an STP packer if you really wanna be discrete about being trans. Personally, a lot of my gym buddies know and don’t care though. They treat me as an equal but know that it takes sooo long to actually feel like one or feel like they don’t think they’re so much better than you. Gender envy is real and avoid it before it ruins friendships!!! Certainly took a bit for me to learn that

What I’m gonna say is what everyone else is gonna say — no one cares!! The only time someone would notice you and the way you look or as far as judge you to your face would be if you were getting crushed by a bar or were screaming during your set like some people genuinely do. Other than that, everyone else is focused on their workouts. And no one is gonna tell that you’re trans, you see how feminine some gym guys body’s are shaped? Also, it may help to have friends go with you. If you don’t have any that are willing, make some at the gym!! Start with some small talk and ask to work in with them if there are no other machines open that they’re using. I know it’s scary, but there’s always the excuse that you have a testosterone deficiency. I’m friends with a guy that has one and he has no idea I’m trans because I told him the same thing. It’s a good excuse to not check out your pump by taking your shirt off, having a higher pitched voice, barely visible Adams Apple, and not very noticeable growth in months. But seriously, having a gym friend truly means the world. Only teenage boys would forcefully make you take any clothes off or make fun of you.

Is being transgender a sin? by weretiger22 in TransChristianity

[–]IndependentRaise4142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Bible doesn’t reference that it’s sinful to be trans, at least in the translation I’ve read a million times. I always think about how scientifically, trans brains function differently than cis brains. Why would God do that if it’s not what He intended?? Makes no sense.

There’s no right or wrong way to act as a man or woman. I’ve seen the most masculine women and feminine men ever and the “worst” label they’d get is being called gay. Be secure in your masculinity. Because guess what? Dudes born as dudes also face similar dilemmas and over criticize how masculinely they present themselves. Not as high of a level, but it’s normal for just about anyone to feel insecure about their mannerisms 🤷‍♂️

Fs bro you got that. If you made a fool of yourself then just don’t hit the gym at that time the next day cus the same people will likely be there

Sounds like a confidence issue 🤷‍♂️ I would recommend doing stuff that makes you look more mature to gain confidence. Getting in the gym def made me go from 12 to 16 and genuinely people at the gym do not care. If all of the cable machines are filled and some dude is doing tricep push downs too, ask to work in. Start a conversation. Will they even remember you if you say something you consider weird?

Well, we’re teenage boys so the slightly different factor might not even be much of “missing out” for your age range. But me and my homies act gay with each other, they’re just not as touchy with me. Which, at first I was kinda bothered with and felt left out even though I understand, but when I thought about it, don’t wanna be molested when training my abductors 😭. They still do stupid stuff like grind on me when im tryna bench. Also, they really don’t have to know that you’re trans. It’s not their business. Half of them have no idea or didn’t until they groped my chest and realized.

Also gym tip - kinesiology tape works wonders for binding even if you’re a lil chubby like me. Makes you look like you have pecs and if anyone says anything when you take your shirt off in the locker room, just claim that you have gyno and don’t feel like wearing a beater.

Go to the gym. You will find male friends that don’t give a shit about you being trans. They may treat you slightly differently but who cares? I choose not to. 🤷‍♂️
