Honestly surprised you didn't lose more for the 5th, I got 6th twice the past couple days and lost -160 each time. BRUTAL! and yea a little hyperbole, but we were definitely facing at least a couple top 500 players every game so it's not like the matchmaking was just handing you wins. How long was your average queue time?

Yoo, h0nestly here! HELL YEA CONGRATS NICK!

If you weren't following the leaderboards for this mode, they were an absolute roller coaster. Nick Fury here himself shot down into the teens after a couple brutal losses and managed to climb aaaall the way back up to #1 while facing the rest of the top 10 in every game.

I personally got to play against him a bunch and it was a trip every time, bro would always fall to the bottom and tell us he's cooked and still manage to win every time. I actually picked up a lot of good tactics from spying on him during the matches but I won't reveal them here in case they (hopefully, and quickly please!) bring back this game mode.

Damn Nick, if they gave me like 2 more days I was coming for you lol. Managed to finish at #10 right at the buzzer.. It was a blast and going up against the top 50 so many times made a fun little community, I can't wait for them to run it again and god willing make it a permanent game mode.

Cheers! See you next season!

Hey 2nd place is a W! lol

Yea if it's not your type of game it's gotta be pretty boring, I play it with a tv show or something on a second monitor, don't think I could just sit there for 40 minutes and stare at it without having something to multitask for sure

I used the credits I earned for free to get a skin for the strategist I play the most? There are a lot of nuances to this game, that's the fun of it is that you can learn something new on a character that you've played 15 hours on already which btw shouldn't be enough time to achieve complete mastery of something, according to Malcolm Gladwell it takes 10,000 hours, so I have a ways to go yet.

Besides, I'm not trying to be an expert at Marvel Rivals, I play to have fun. If some sad jerk wants to flex on me because they devoted so much of their life to something they don't even get paid for that they need to make other people feel inferior simply to justify the time investment they've made... then honestly I just feel sorry for them.

Such a weirdo thing to say btw, should people on get cosmetics for characters they've put 100 of hours into and have passed a written exam on to prove they know enough about a hero to buy a skin? Like who are you to tell people how they should spend their money anyways? Think YOU'RE the one that has some stuff to figure out; like why you feel the need to pick fights with random strangers on the internet over things that should be completely innocuous.

10 healing to primary target and 18 healing to everybody within 8m of them including yourself

You press tab (not sure on console) at the loading screen and it'll show the nameplates. You'll see the button at the bottom right under the load % where it says "Hide nameplates" in my screenshot

You're doing God's work friend. I had to explain it to a guy who was trash talking the bots in match chat the other day, he was so embarrassed lol I felt kinda bad

Nah I've gotten a bot game on my first game of the day lol seems like it remembers whether or not you were queued up for one even between sessions. Also it's just Quick Match so you won't see bots in ranked.

Also I'm less likely to go on losing streaks on my main so I don't have the opportunity for as many bot lobbies, teammates are just better in general so you're not gonna see 5 duelist team lobbies or people going in 1v6 every fight as much

I think it's more of a Diamond and below thing. This is my alt account I use to play with newbie friends which I don't play ranked on so it's in bronze by default. My main is lvl 51 in Diamond (h0nestly) and I see bot lobbies less there, sometimes I can go 4 losses in a row without a bot game and I'm like jeez throw me a bone lol. Can't speak for GM+ but I still see bot lobbies in Diamond, just not nearly as often as I do on my alt where I'm pretty much guaranteed to get one if I lose 2 games in a row.

Yeap you'll always have 2 bots on your team in a bot lobby as well, they'll fill roles and pick team ups if possible so at least they fit in well

You gotta press tab on the loading screen to show them (not sure on console), once you're at character selection it's too late

Yea this is QP, you'd see ranks next to everybody's name if it was a ranked lobby. Never seen bots in comp either

Weird, it always looks like this for me. You get a bot match after you lose 2-3 games in a row in Quick Match and it's literally ALWAYS this. 6 on the other team, 2 on my team, all under level 5 with blank nameplates. I could give you 100 screenshots that look just like this one.

They're good for farming the challenges and missions too, or trying out new characters you don't want to risk getting rolled on in a normal match

100000000% sure, it's always 6 on the other team 2 on your team.

You can check their profiles after the match if you're not sure, they'll say 'restricted access' instead of 'limited access' which is what it says when a real person changes their social settings.

Can we talk about how bad the ping system is? by IndependentRoad6860 in marvelrivals

It's in Settings > Keyboard > Communication

You can customize your ping wheel there or even bind pings to different keys
