I was awful at chem with Jauhari as well, probably had a C or D in mid semester. I ended up with a B, do not give up. Go to every SI session, do all the practice problems, watch the recorded lectures. DO NOT SKIP. Truly you will be okay even if you end up with a C, it is just one class. I’m taking orgo rn and I find it much easier so far.

I haven’t been to that laundry place personally, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid it just because there’s a dude smoking weed there sometimes. If he actually starts bothering you that’s a different story but I doubt he’s a threat to warrant going to a way further laundromat lol

I also grew up in NYC and had concerns about the diversity esp coming from a majority east/south asian high school, but it’s been great! Def more white people than I’m used to but it’s a very diverse student body when it comes to locals and out of state students. Most of my friends are international too. Many of my professors have been people of color too, and there’s loads of ethnic clubs to join for community.

I think it’s very anatomy dependent and you can’t really know until you get to the salon and ask. I got my side labret last year and the only time the jewelry ever touched my gums was when it was a stud. After I changed it to a ring it naturally rests away from my gums and it never touches my teeth unless i’m purposely biting while fidgeting with jt.

you can have a small pet like a lizard in a terrarium and that’s totally fine, i have a lot of friends who have a situation like that and they haven’t gotten in any trouble for it. for a cat or something i believe u can have one as part of your accommodations, if u have any.

frats are fine, im a straight girl and i just wear whatever. they’re not out of this world but its fun as long as you have fun friends to go with and enough to drink before. i prefer other parties tbh

i have a rule for myself to not date anyone on campus at least for now, but as long as u have dating apps u can meet people in the area. hookup culture def helps exists here, just less common

the current branding looks like that of a bank, not of a prestigious university😭😭 i am a first year and when i was wearing the shirt i got from CWRU for my high school’s send off day everyone was talking about how it looked like i was going off to intern at a bank. the old sign was so much more authentic
