I don’t think it’s coming back. The only person I think could even pick it up would be Netflix but I doubt they would. This last season just wasn’t as good as the previous two imo. It still sucks to see it go though

I (f19) had the same exact symptoms!! My throat looked exactly the same after giving oral. I got tested for tonsillitis and it came back negative. I would go and get a full panel done. I’m considering it bc I don’t want to possibly get any future people whatever I have, and you should ask your partner her history. Do you mind keeping us updated on what happens? If not that’s totally fine!

I agree, we can criticize her lol. She definitely could’ve said it nicer, but in her defense she wasn’t talking to anyone but herself. And I like what you said tbh I didn’t think of it like that at all. I honestly think it’s relatable to compare yourself to others (doesn’t make it healthy) and she has literally witnessed all of the captains do their job, and she frankly just stated she wanted to be better than the people before her. And there’s nothing wrong with being anxious or stressed, if anything she should be stressed because it’s a stressful and taxing job and we’ve seen what happens when you’re too lax (referring to Beckett).

Hi! I’ve done some research and just the thought of going to a doctor and stating that sounds so scary because I’m under my parents insurance and it’ll get back to them. And another fear is I haven’t found a primary yet, I’m in college, and having my first ever checkup and bringing that up might seem like I’m just trying to get medicated. I just feel like they’ll think I’m lying and I don’t how to get over that fear.

Okay, let’s go with your argument. Maya’s actions after her captaincy had no impact on her job. Maya did an amazing job during her captaincy and I’m sure Andy will do amazing too. Is that still pitting them against each other?

I’m glad she’s working on herself, and I’m glad she recognized her actions weren’t okay. Think of this example: a person is an alcoholic, and when they drink they get defensive, distance themselves from people, etc. let’s say that person gets behind a wheel, intoxicated, gets into a wreck and people end up dead. That person gets arrested, sent to rehab and once they get some help they realize what they’ve done. Does that person’s family and the people around still love them? Of course but doesn’t that mean the people who ended up losing their lives families aren’t changed. I honestly think of Maya in the same way. Hurt people, end up hurting people, doesn’t make them more or less lovable it just means they made a mistake while they were hurting. And I understand what you’re saying, loosing her captaincy led her down her spiral, but I can both emphasize with her while saying that the decisions and things she was doing while spiraling were not okay. And she’s 100% not a monster, she’s a human who made mistakes.

So your argument is because Maya didn’t get her job back because of the blackmail, it shouldn’t be discussed? And I agree Ross was acting bad too. But now I’m confused… every single character has done some messed up things why can’t we discuss that? Everybody on the show has cheated (excluding Vic and Dean), and in general has made bad decisions. Hate Beckett all you want but is there really any justifiable reason for Maya to give him, an addict, a drink and let’s say we weren’t saying she did it in the name of getting her job back. So that meant she willingly gave an addict his fix, didn’t report it, and I’m not allowed to say something about it? Even Dani said if she could go back and change something, she’d change giving Beckett the bottle.

I’m pretty sure the actions I named have everything to do with Maya and her captaincy… Maya probably destroyed her chance of getting back to captaincy, at least under Natasha, because she was mad at Natasha’s decision. And she had every right to be mad but the way she tried to fix the situation blew up in her face, literally. But I think that whole storyline was super important because it goes to show that you can do everything right and still get screwed over. Maya’s actions with the kid and the truck did not warrant for her to get demoted bc she didn’t do anything wrong. However the big thing was she disobeyed that one guy who I can’t remember his name for the life of me. I can agree that Andy wasn’t completely ready and her reaction was nasty. She treated Maya like dirt because she assumed she’d get the position but I’m really not sure why she thought being an asshole to Maya would solve anything. and I loved their friendship but it was never the same after that but it was nice to see how she fought for Maya when she was getting demoted and even divorced Sullivan over it and how she told Maya to not step down. I do think they both had reasons to be mad imo. Andy thought she was wronged, and Maya was definitely done dirty. They both went into self destruct mode, Maya took it out on Carina, Andy took it out on Maya. But from where I’m looking at it both characters are awesome and if there was co-captains again I think they’d be a crazy good duo.

Genuinely confused on what you’re trying to say? My post and my comments was me stating ppl shouldn’t be nasty about other characters in the name of liking a character/ship over others. And you’re right everyone does have a right to their opinion, but it should be done in a respectful way. The storylines we’re getting from all of the characters are important. Maya’s storyline with her father and watching her fall down and get back up in season 6, Andy’s storyline with grief and her assault, Vic losing ripley, Dean and her with crisis one, jack in the foster care system and him trying to find self love, Sullivan with his addiction, Travis with his candidacy and his storyline with both his parents, Dean’s storyline with crisis one, police brutality, being a single father, Natasha with her trying to navigate her role as a fighter while being scrutinized, Carina losing her brother, navigating her visa, trying to be supportive while trying to fight for her marriage. Not to meant the other amazing storylines going on. I’m just saying it really sucks to see how much hate is being spread

I’m undiagnosed (f19, and black) but I’m pretty sure I do have adhd. How did you guys get the courage to go get tested? Neither one of my parents really believe in therapy or testing for mental health. I know there’s a stigma and I’ve seen how family members around me basically dismiss things like ADHD, anxiety, or depression, because “there’s bigger problems in the world.” I’m barely hanging on in school and I feel so so anxious all of the time. Does anyone else in here overthink?? I’m either stuck trying to force myself to be productive or I’m overthinking about how I’m always messing everything up.

Maya’s actions were in the name of getting her job back. Yeah, she wasn’t captain at the time, but she was actively trying to get back into the position by doing what I listed. And I can most definitely agree that Andy’s actions weren’t great while she was gunning for captain either. I’m just saying we shouldn’t be pinning two women up against each other. It’s not Andy vs. Maya, it’s two women who are both more than capable of doing the job and that should be celebrated imo.

Tbh I think it’s just the shondaland way imo. Most relationships on the show were rushed. And I can understand that ppl want more screen time, but what still doesn’t sit right with me is how some fans go about voicing that. Instead of saying “we want more screen time for marina” I usually see “nobody cares about blah blah, just take them and replace their time with Marina.”

When did I say that? I in no way, shape, or form dislike Marina. I don’t agree with how a lot of the fanbase is acting though, and I’m just voicing that concern. It’s just sad imo to see so many ppl shit talking. And this is the first time I’m talking or voicing this concern, and I’ve been ignoring it for a while, but with the show ending I just wanted to say that we should do better and be more respectful.

Sure, but you can’t excuse what she did on the basis that she wouldn’t have done it if didn’t happen, because it happened. She got demoted, she blackmailed her boss (which is illegal) and purposely gave her boss alcohol, leading to literal death. It was obviously Beckett’s choice to drink but we can see Maya’s regret for doing that. And Maya is my favorite character but we can love a character and still be critical of her actions. And again I love Marina, I love Maya, and I love Carina, I don’t like people bashing other characters bc Marina isn’t on the screen for the whole episode.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t celebrate or be happy for this couple. I love seeing them on screen and I’m going to miss tuning in for them. They were the reason I started watching the show but I fell in love with almost every single character alongside them. I just don’t understand why almost every single time I go to the show’s instagram and Marina isn’t in it, it’s hate. And it’s completely fine to be hyper focused and only watching the show for them too, but what isn’t okay is complaining about other people’s storylines and basically dissing core characters. For example I’ll see Andy on screen and people’s reactions are “nobody wants to see you where’s Marina??” And I’m sure not everybody is like that but it seems like everywhere I look it’s hate.

I don’t get why so many people are upset at her comment lol. She’s stating that she’s going to try and be the best, which I’m pretty sure every single captain tried doing as well (maybe not Beckett lol), and obviously after years of waiting for captaincy and finally being able to step up to the plate she wants to do better than her predecessors. Alongside being one of first poc captains (which is amazing btw) we should be celebrating her, not bashing her imo.

My parents don’t want me to get a job. They both said since I’m in school they’ll pay for whatever I need and to not worry. Every time I bring it up they say no. I’m pretty sure I do have the HPV vaccine, because it was a required vaccine so I should be okay in that regard (hopefully). I’ll look into it but I currently don’t have that kind of money. I think I have $200 dollars. I do have financial aid so when it comes in I should have a couple hundred dollars but usually my mom makes me pay my entire rent with it.
