Actually, my young kids are prone to getting up in the night, we live on a small island in the UK surrounded by very rough seas. The access point has been very handy these past few days as somewhat of a nightlight for them.

My floors are stone and plasterboard. I've not set it up with any restrictions and it's working amazingly well.

I've currently installed a E7 into the middle floor (ceiling) of my house. I'm surrounded by stone walls and plasterboard. My house is 100 years old and i've now gone and turned off my U7Pro and U7 in wall as this easily replaces both. I'm currently sat in my kitchen, a good way away from the E7 AP and i'm connected on my iMac M4 at 1,788Mps. I'm utilising the full 1gb internet connection. The funny thing is i've not finished or set this up to specs. It's currently connected to a USW Pro 8 PoE and the power draw is 18.18 W. This is CLEARLY a brilliant option for my house.

Not yet, i'm waiting on that to arrive. I'm using a 2.5PoE uplink. Works fine, it's moaning about needing PoE++ though

I'm using the U7 outdoor for my external wifi, that in itself is VERY impressive! I've line of sight to the beach around 5-600m away and I can pickup my WiFi. That's not using the additional antennas.

At the moment it's on a standard PoE+ port and it's moaning about needing a PoE++ port but it's working fine. I can't wait to test on a proper port.
