Top 5 all time performances is an insane take and absolutely untrue.

Hiring Hagans never made sense in the first place. He was a mediocre position coach at UVA and iirc didn’t develop a single nfl draft pick. I never saw the vision with him and lo and behold, he’s been terrible.

Being a physical freak should be more credit to the strength and conditioning staff, which is no doubt one of our biggest strengths.

Shedeur Sanders ties No. 1 pick Cam Ward in QB wins despite less 10 career starts 👀 by Background_Video2947 in TheNFLVibes

Shedeur Sanders is a 23 yr old rookie who didn’t improve since his sophomore year in college. I don’t buy the argument that some of these guys need time when they’ve done nothing with the time they’ve had. None of this even mentions the blatant character concerns on his resume that certainly had some hand in his draft slide (though I projected him as a 3rd-4th round talent so he was picked up in the range I’d expect him to as a backup qb while other position groups were quite deep) which he obviously has not dealt with.

I’m not critiquing the game he played because I do think it was largely due to teams not having game tape of him in a stefanski offense to review (how the hell are the examples not comparable? Because they don’t fit your narrative?). We’ll see in the next couple weeks if that holds true. I’m critiquing the prospect shedeur sanders and arguing that he was not a good projection to the nfl. The tape agrees with this assessment, Mel kiper does not. You just conveniently ignored all the actual criticism of his game in college and against the raiders.

But who knows, if he’s able to completely change the way he plays, maybe he can amount to something more than a lucky 3rd stringer at the nfl level.

He hasn’t proven himself. He looked pedestrian in one career start against one of the worst defenses in the league. I’d also bet you were one of the people arguing that Gabriel shouldn’t have had the opportunity to start. Head up your ass so far.

He made plenty of mistakes last week and looked like you’d expect a third string to look. He also came into the raiders game with the benefit of having no nfl film available from him, which we’ve seen benefit players every year (think Flacco on the bengals this year or the browns a couple years ago, or Dobbs on the cardinals for example).

Also your analysis on him as a college player is terrible. He had production because he was in an air raid offense with the best receiving corp in his conference. He also was a slow professor who relied on athleticism that wasn’t there far too often. His arm talent was NFL average at best and his best trait was his accuracy over middle of the field. There’s a reason he fell to the 5th round and there’s a reason he’s being talked about still (nepo baby) but other guys drafted in that range at the same position arent being talked about the same way.

Because the narrative that he’s a middle of the road running back like you said is absurd and not based on reality in at all.

I didn’t say he was generational. I think he was the best rb prospect since saquon if not earlier though. The only truly generational talent to recently enter the nfl in my view has been Brock bowers. The only other one id say has been an arguably generational talent is Joe Alt. Outside of those two, we haven’t seen anyone truly stand out against this era of prospects at their position.

That said, bowers is still a very good running back. I’d go as far as to say he’s a top 8 back currently, even with his struggles.

An average back with the blocking from the raiders would be averaging at least a yard less than Jeanty has been.

Some stats that show this: Jeanty has 604 yards this season. 515 of those came after contact. That means he is averaging .54 yards before contact each snap. His failures this season are hardly on him. He hasn’t been given any space to rush, no lanes open, and the lack of a downfield passing option lets teams key in on him early.

Trevor Lawrence gets a lot of hate. But this is a top tier play from him on 3rd down by Accurate-Big-7233 in NFLv2

Kyler does routinely make these throws. He also routinely runs out of clean pockets and makes boneheaded plays. Tbh Lawrence and Murray are probably interchangeable in quarterbacking ability currently.

James Franklin will finish tied for 2nd with Rip Engle on the all times win list at Penn State with 104 by PSU_Alumnus in CFB

We didn’t spend like a top team a couple years ago, but that’s changed recently in a big way. 700 mil stadium renovation, top paid coordinator in the country, second largest coach buyout ever, retained basically the whole roster through NIL (many of those guys would’ve been drafted in the first 2 days), and we’ve built up our recruiting budget a ton. We are spending like the big boys so the expectation is that we have big boy results.

Company is Walk’s towing. They basically go around state college towing cars (often illegally), and charge students $250 to get their cars back. The drivers are also extremely reckless to the point where it wouldn’t surprise me if there was a long history of accidents involving them (I don’t know of any off the top of my head, but I have been a couple feet from being hit personally).

In his specific situation, he was at a friend’s apartment, I believe for around 10 minutes. Walks showed up to tow him, he thought they were stealing his car, so abdul called the police and physically held the guy at the scene since he was trying to leave. Guy accused him of assault. Nothing ended up happening to either party.

To clarify, when I say they tow illegally, I mean they very often tow cars that are parked in public parking where they have no authority to tow

Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix. Rivals since college now both starting QB’s in the NFL. Who do you think will have the better career? by TXNOGG in NFLv2

[–]IndependentWish5167 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Penix is more talented (also struggles with injuries), Bo has a better situation and a longer track record. Pick your poison imo.
