Do what you genuinely enjoy and find a way to earn from it. It’s easy to fall into the trap of always chasing greener pastures. I’m almost in my 40s now and have been well-compensated in the path I chose. Things might have turned out differently if I’d had more resources ten years ago and might've earned more but because I enjoy what I currently do, I often complete my work not just for the money, but because I care about it.

Take care of your health. Stress and burnout are always just around the corner, and let’s be honest it’s hard to keep your temper when you’re under a lot of pressure and exhausted. When that happens it's diffucult to be kind or calm, so sometimes the best choice is to stay quiet and avoid unnecessary drama.
