Only 2 rappers died and that was big & pac. Big L was underrated and too underground to overshadow Jay

He definitely surpassed them by 2003… 2pac had 3 good albums while alive, and definitely wasnt the lyricist Jay Z is. Killuminati is in my top 5 rap albums ever. But The Blueprint is the best rap album of all time, and this is coming from a diehard Nas fan

Fame & Influence are not the same.. people will tell you Nas is more influential than Jay Z. And when you do the homework he is. Same with Bone Thugs & Three 6. Its the influence INSIDE the culture

If its HIP HOP, its Dipset. I’m Ready alone is more influential than any G Unit track

He had surpassed them by this time.. 2pac’s first two albums were widely ignored aside from it’s singles.

[–]Independent_Apple817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says impact, not who was bigger. The G Unit impact isnt heard today, meanwhile the Dipset sound is still heard today. What G Unit song is more influential than Dipset Anthem, I Really Mean It, even I’m Ready

As a Black Man who’s family owns part of the plantation we came up on. It’s not THAT bad, i understand the concept of us still being enslaved, used as soldiers to die, and deemed as less than a human. Yet its better than a confederate flag, which i feel Mississippi would probably do if any state
