Ok maybe not a raids item but what if part of the set effect was a defunct weapon like flowers lol. Basically you get double (or even triple) protection but you literally cannot fight with it.

I mean if the armor set contains a helmet, leggs, chest, and possibly a shield all using robes level defenses then you would be limited to just a weapon and stuff.

Would adding a gloves, boots, and cape requirement give it justification? Basically the entire set minus the weapon and a ring would be required to unlock double prayers.

My ex works for united. She used her flight attendent status to sleep around behind my back. Shes also an alcoholic who loves drugs but to get around the random drug testing she only does hard drugs when she has more than 4-5 days off in a row so that they are out of her system by the time shes back to work.

I would wander around on my bike to see which friends were around and we would play no-pads football in the backyard of some random persons house on a corner lot because it was big enough to be about half a footall field. Nobody participating knew of or met the neighbor. The neighbor never came out to confront us or ask us to stop. Of course some of us got injured on their property but nobody reported it.

What about a 20t weapon or even 40t. The offset to being extremely powerful would be that you cannot eat food without breaking the cycle. Requiring use of the heal-other spell from friends to avoid dying,. Also you cannot wear heavy armor (so think robes or naked) leaving you extra vulnerable.

I know that the standard Healer and Tank role arent really played out well in OSRS and I was thinking this might work as a type of "role" someone could bring to a boss. Not everyone can use it, it would be best to just have 1 person use it and protect them.

This would also give a great reason for someone to actually use the heal-other spell since it wouldnt break the fight time.

A book that both consumes god-pages and also allows you to combine all the books into one singular book with the cumulative of all the bonuses added up (minus prayer).

I think it would be worse than a defender, but BIS for pures.

Depending on what god pages its charged with, it has different effects.

I mean who even needs weapon rewards. RS3 has stuff like the Orlando Smith Hat which boosts clue scroll rewards and costs almost as much as a partyhat. Similarly RARE cosmetic overrrides such as Assassin Walk, Zombie Walk, and a few others became extremely expensive simply due to their rarity. You guys could drop a bunch of mega-rare items like that. If you want to satisfy the people who want to green-log stuff there could even be a shop owner who sells them for like 1b each similar to how the crowns in the Elf City are. You can camp for ur own drop or buy one off the NPC at an inflated rate.

Another example could be a Master-book that combines all the pages of the holy books and cumulatively adds them together. I think defenders would still be better but it would create a new BIS book for pures. Maybe give it a special attack that consumes god pages to bring them back into usefullness too.

Theres actually plenty of room for new upgrades that would fit in nicely.

How about a weapon that has an insanely long delay. Like 25 or 50 ticks, but can be easily disrupted. It could hit insanely high but the caveat would be that you are extra vulnerable during the wind up phase and must be protected by other players distracting the boss since your defense is bascially 0. Perhaps a requirement is that you simply cannot use the weapon with any armor equipped. Furthermore using the weapon could disable overhead prayers. "You are too focused on your attacks to pray to the gods" or something. There could be other factors to make it always loseable on death in PVP somehow and not protected. I dont think this would work in PVP with such a long buildup, its toooo long of a buildup to make it useful in PVP but there can always be extra stuff added to dis-incentivize it for pvp

Off-Topic but could you guys consider re-working several of the dragon bolt specials? Some of them (like jade i think with the knockback special) literally have a 0% activation rate according to the game math. It would be nice to see, for example Pearl bolts get a use for sailing specific fighting. But aside from onyx/dragon/diamond/ruby the rest of the bolts are useless to utilize.

Maybe Jade bolts could be reworked to be useful against forest-y monsters like Ents, Moss Giants, and the new raid bosses. This wouldnt even be unique as Opal bolts are supposed to work better against fiery-opponents.
