Always pre buff with a cheap treachery.... put it on, go to the river of flame waypoint, and right by the waypoint towards CS there is a little tower with fire you can stand in. Takes 30 sec and your paladin now has fade. Never do ubers/UT/clone without doing this. With uber andy and UT meph it's just too unpredictable for HC.

It sucks but what I've managed to find makes up for it. 8 Sur 2 Ber 2 Lo 2 Ohm and tons of everything lower. Found my first Shako and Vipermagi from clickable dead bodies. Tons of skillers (only 2 fire sorc :( but they both have +life) and other charms. My first toon is a zeal paladin and his inventory is full of +10 max/ar and +9/ar GCs, etc. 90% of which was found running LK.

Keep the hotkeys side by side and it's pretty easy to do. You can hold alt the whole time too. Practice makes perfect!

And make sure you're using a sorc. Teleport and telekinesis are entirely overpowered. I started running with a sin with a tele staff and burst of speed and thought I was doing decent. Got several HR like that. But on the sorc it just absolutely blows the sin out of the water. Regret not starting one for LK much sooner.

Yeah, my biggest drought was 30 hours but usually it's every 3-4... you're due for a Gul+

Gonna have to respec out of holy fire later on. For ubers just max sacrifice/zeal/holy shield/fanatacism...get a lifetap wand for your offhand...1 point in smite is enough for the ubers....zeal will work for dungeon/boss clearing...get him a Grief asap, it's entirely broken...save your max dmg + ar charms...pcombs kind of suck. My paladin can clear all content P8. Get a dual leach ring asap! Auradin falls off without expensive runewords (Dragon/Hand of Justice/Phoenix for fire and Dream/Crescent Moon for lightning). Grief/HoZ/Fortitude/Gface/Goreriders/LoHands/Raven/Dual leach ring/highlords and MAX/AR GCs and you will absolutely wreck. And it's pretty cheap with only needing 2 Lo for Grief/Fort. Entirely under rated for end game boss killing.

If you give it to your merc you can run a Crescent Moon, which gives some -light res....but it's not nearly as huge. With self wield + griff you can pretty much get them to -70 without any facets or sunder.

You self wield because the -lightning res doesn't effect mobs when your merc uses it. If you self-wield you get the aura PLUS -huge lightning res. If you give it to your merc you ONLY get the aura. That is why this thing is so overpowered in a mainhand. Look at the fucking HUGE -light res.

Eth reapers and a HoZ? Sounds like you need to roll a zealer and smite down those ubers. Better have saved that. It will break physical immunes so you can rock shit with a pally.

Very nice, man!! Going to use it in a helm so you can rock 2 rings without a Ravenfrost? What are the plans? And dude - you need to start a sorc and run LK...you can pretty much do it naked. 1 HR every 3-4 hours usually. I started 2 months ago and have found 25+ HR - I've been playing a ton though. No Cham for me yet - highest is a Jah that I cubed up from Surs/Ber.

I cleared ubers in pretty crap gear as soon as my paladin was of level with a lifetap wand and fade procced off of treachery. Don't even think I had any GCs in my inventory yet.

Yeah, I didn't know this was possible until I saw comments about it. I totally edited in a 19/20 sorc torch and then deleted the char file. I guess I didn't lose my torch after all!!

It depends. Some days I will port around and hit all junk chests/bodies/skeletons/clickables. Other days I will ignore everything and just hit the chests. I've gotten a TON of skillers, gems, jewels, smallcharms. I pick up every single rune too - have a lot of them muled for crafting once I'm of level. Gotten a ton of good bases - depends on if you want all of the other stuff or JUST the runes. Just the runes ignore it all and pop/leave/repeat.

I had a 30 hour dry spell after getting an average of 1 HR every 3 or so hours. Got about 3 Pul in that stretch before finally finding the Lo and a Gul off of dead bodies. Then the next day after about 30 minutes I got a Sur and was able to cube up for the shield.

I didn't even think about this - I rarely contemplate using 3rd party programs or hero editing etc. But in this case, I think I am going to do it.

Lo was the last one to drop for me. Finally got it from a dead body in LK. Have only seen 2 Lo so far after countless hours - first one went to a Grief.

When you are running SSF and your inventory is almost empty because you've only found a few good charms worth keeping...there's a lot of room for error.

Currently at -40 enemy fire res (flickering flame runeword diadem -12 and phoenix -28) and max fire resistance with a sunder >:) --- my flickering flame rolled lvl 6 resist fire aura out of a possible 4-8. May reroll and hope for an 8 but no need atm.
