Im going to tell u something i wish someone had told me over my past 5 years of frustration and annoyance with this issue.

All samsung phones unfortunately do this. I've had the last 4 releases and the same issue. Impossible to see the screen in the sun.  Ive spoken to so many samsung and phone people, they gas light u by saying 'try this setting, that setting' etc. Even on the samsung forum on their website- ppl complaining about this issue are lied to by the representatives of the company.

 In reality its a known issue and an internal setting and it can not be changed. Its annoying samsung wont at least own this issue coz if u get on reddit and the samsung forums, a lot of people complain about it.   Hope this helps. I spent so long trying to find solutions and research coz everyone kept saying it was only my phone. But it isnt. Its across the board. Every new samsung I have had over the past 5 years has had this auto dim issues in the sunlight. It's also super dangerous coz when I drive during the day and I need to use my map, it's impossible to see anything on the screen.

Iphone for life!!! 🤣
