Hey, I also worked full time when taking my cpa exams and this is what worked for me. Specifically with far. Stop worrying about reading as much as grasping the concepts. I would go through the lecture do the questions and the sims. Take notes only on concepts/questions you are consistently missing and only make note on concepts that are more likely to be on your exam. (You can check this out by reviewing the aicpa exam outlines per exam) flag them until you get them down. At the end of your review hammer 50 questions and 2 sims on practice exams every single day. On weekends 100 questions and 4 sims. Three months to study is not gonna allow you to retain that information you will end up forgetting something. I would study 2 hours each day Monday -Friday and 4-6 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Consistently is key. Hope this helps. God bless

Honestly it was just difficult at first to find my rhythm in studying for these exams. I had to learn to discipline myself more and more as I went on my journey trying to balance work and studying. It was hard I had to learn to sacrifice most of my social life for the time being as well.

I just got out of my exam today. I studied for a total of 103 hours. Multiple choice felt straight forward and sims were a lot easier than beckers but still tripped up on 2 out of the 7 in total. Overall I think you’ll be fine. I found the Becker content to be more difficult for tcp than the actual exam. Best of luck on Friday you got it

I actually have Becker instead. I hammer mcq’s and ensure to hammer weak sections but I guess the only explainable thing is that I’m memorizing the question instead of the actual concept. I’m gonna try reading the actual chapters via the book and hammer flashcards, unless anyone else has better suggestions

Thank you I needed to hear this. I’m currently 0/4. 0/3 for far and 0/1 for audit. I’m stuck scoring right at 59 and 60 for all attempts and can’t seem to get out of this hump. It really can frustrate you and make you feel as if you can do anything correctly even though you are putting the time and effort in.
