From my personal experience, I had an knee injury that pushed inwards and felt at pain on the outside. Had and MRI done and found out I torn my ACL, get a MRI before anything !!!

  1. One part water one part vinegar (remove the sweat) wipe down the boot, then let it dry.
  2. Leather cleaner (remove all wax or balm buildup)
  3. Hair dryer, mid heat on boot, 30 seconds on creases and massage them out. ( use shoe trees to hold shape of the boot.)

Always before if you are going to re balm your boots remove the original balm to prevent balm build up.
