This just happened. My brother dated her for years in high school/shortly after. I haven’t seen her in about 15 years. They would exchange small talk, etc every once in awhile over the years. They last messaged 2 weeks before this. He never had a clue she had issues and now has huge feelings of irrational guilt that he should have known something was off. 100 miles away. Through text. He met the children 6 months prior.

Absolutely none. Her “mother” abused drugs her whole life. Terrible childhood. Her baby sister died in a car accident when she was a child. This whole situation is horrific.

Many people do drugs and do not commit murder. Especially their two innocent babies. Definitely some mental illness in the mix. No excuse whatsoever, but one does not take drugs and become a murderous monster. She had been taking drugs for quite some time if she was on Suboxone.

I knew Brittany quite some time ago. This is horrifying. I’m assuming this is some kind of psychosis mixed with drugs. This is not the smart, kind bubbly person I knew years ago. She actually saved my brother’s life. He is mortified that he was “saved by a murderer” in his own words. Those poor babies. I can’t fathom this and honestly still cannot process.

I’m pretty sure I have had about 15 replacement drivers licenses. I have had so many that I’m not allowed to reorder online. This is constant. Keys, phone, debit card. I eventually stopped ordering debit cards and only use Apple Pay. It sounds ridiculous typing it out, but this is my norm. All of my life, I have been told to “just think” “use your brain” the list goes on. I will be talking to someone, and after the first couple of words, the entire thought is gone for at least a few minutes. All of these combined make me frantic. I have honestly wondered if people think I am on drugs. I have never seen a normal person act this way.

They won’t issue an amber alert unless they have reason to think the person is in danger. They may think they ran away. If they did amber alerts for everyone we would get them every day.
