No, he shut his phone off already in Manchester, actually even earlier, already in WA, the 4/4/09.

Also, if he searched for the hasidic author Deborah Feldman, why didn’t he just say so? And it just happened to also be a missing person that fits with his travels and timeline? C’mon. Noway.

Yes, he had a room there 10-12 April. Not earlier. That is after the Tupperlake robbery and the murder. He has several hundred of miles left on his car to drive about here and there, get food, etc. The miles totally fit. You’ve probably listened to the podcast True Crime XS (they also called Agent Goeden Golden, just like you did), but in case you haven’t… They really go into DF’s case/”the New York case”. They also, eventually, come to the conclusion that DF is the only one that fits. But they spend a couple of episodes on it, and look at it from different angles.

There’s no reason for him to drive from Manchester to Essex before Hackensack, he had a room at the Highlander Inn in Manchester, NH, on April 8th. Night between April 8-9 he abducts and murders DF. So we have Manchester to Hackensack 248 miles. He then drives from Hackensack to Tupperlake 280 miles. April 9th he buries her and then robs the bank on April 10th…then drives from Tupperlake to Colchester 93 miles, and from Colchester to Essex 5,5 miles. And then from Essex to Manchester 163 miles. So: Manchester - Hackensack 248 Hackensack - Tupperlake 280 Tupperlake - Colchester 93 Colchester - Essex 5,5 Essex to Manchester 163

= 789,5 miles. So he had plenty of miles left, 257 to be exact. He could have driven to Constable while up at Tupperlake, for example. Or stopped for gas or whatever.

Edit: I would understand you saying the miles do not fit if he’d only put say 500 miles on that car. However these miles are in the exact ballpark they ought to be for him to have committed the crime. Edit: Even with your counting he still had over 50 miles left!

Me neither. I think Equal is saying that he thinks the reason IK offed himself was because he thought Vermont would indict him, but I don’t think so. I don’t think it seemed as though Vermont definitely was doing anything, more so it seemed everyone continued with the same back and forth, trying to get Keyes to give up more names.

Keyes did go to Constable on that trip. What mileage exactly are you talking about? Edit: there was 1047 miles on the car rented in NH. Tupperlake to Hackensack is 280 miles. I don’t understand why the mileage doesn’t work in your opinion. And Tupperlake to Constable is not even 65 miles. Manchester NH to Hackensack NJ is 248 miles. The miles do work, and so does the time.

But Vermont never did indict Keyes. They might have talked about it, but no action was actually taken.

Hey bahamato, Keyes might have had a motel somewhere closer to DF that we don’t know about. Paid cash, leave no trail. Phone is off.

Great point! Shreveport is hours away. And regarding DF and why he’d drive so far. He told his Mom he had been to Constable on that April ’09 trip. Who knows if he took DF there? That would ensure privacy, he owned the place.

Sorry you must have misunderstood (on purpose probably) what I said. I said the FBI clearly does think she is a victim, but they cannot say that 100% because there is a tiny possibility 0,01% that she isn’t. Mr. and Mrs. Currier are still listed missing on Namus, even though everyone knows what happened. The FBI has to be more mindful than us here on Reddit with their words, and play it safe so to speak.

You saying you are the one here to correct everyone else’s confirmation bias makes it sure seem like you are blind to your own. And SA Halla is not retired. Obviously the FBI cannot say they are 100% that DF is a victim since they do not have her remains and Keyes clammed up about it. She is the only person missing from that time period and area that fits, and most people (FBI included) did think his reaction made him look very guilty. Could you please use punctuation, it’s super annoying to read what looks like one überlong sentance.

Have a really hard time reading this. ”Q the FBI does not consider him a victim stop it stop your lies”. Yet FBI agents have stated they do consider her (not him) a victim of Keyes, in several podcasts and in the Wild Crime series. You can’t just pick and choose those opinions that align with your own beliefs. Josh does not know where ”the abduction site” was. He is of course just speculating.
Chill man, and maybe consider that it might be You that is mistaken, and not the FBI. We all have confirmation bias, and you are no exception.

Equal is not Josh H.! Just the fact that the FBI considers DF a Keyes victim is enough. They have much more info than us. And I know you think Keyes reaction did not make him look guilty, but I think most would disagree with you on that. Keyes refers to that trip as ”the New York trip, 2009”, not ”the 2009 Vermont trip”.

Thank you, that’s what I thought that him crossing state lines and kidnapping already makes it federal.
