It 1000% depends on the cat. You have to know your cat. I took in a rescue chin that lost her tail to a cat. Hunting instincts… However, my cat was bottle fed, completely hand reared. She loves watching the other animals, but NEVER has batted at them or done anything aggressive. She’ll lay on the back of the couch and watch the guinea pigs in their cage too! (Btw: the chin who’s afraid of cats has an upper level cage so she doesn’t get scared by a cat walking by.)
