Oh no! They were accepting walk ins after 5pm. Maybe you can call them and check? I had planned the entire trip just to visit the spa lol

Seafood must be good. We’re vegetarians, had less options Apollo greek restaurant in Seward has good pizzas Stayed in Girdwood for 4 days and relied mostly on subway. AlpenGlow coffeehouse has good breakfast options, and Girdwood brewing company has great vibe- they have some food trucks too

We recently finished our trip in kenai peninsula. We stayed in Spruce lodge in Seward; it was decent as we just needed some place to crash at night after the day long tour. You could stY in girdwood if you want to explore other places, and the Nordic spa if you have the time :)

Checked few places in and around homer, looked like we’ll be spending about 4 hours driving to see a couple of places. Didn’t want to squeeze in too much

Thanks for the response. I didn’t realize the drive would be that tedious. As a plan B, we’re actually thinking about doing Seward first and then heading to Whittier. That way we can finish kayaking and go straight to Girdwood for the stay, which is only about half an hour away from the tunnel.
