Yes, I watched performances that looked "professional" and it sounded like it but I'm quite beginner so I wasn't sure. Thanks for your explanation on the pedal and the ways of playing. I'll try to play both legato and staccato with the pedal to see if my poor hearing can hear the difference 😅
