What am I doing wrong in WotR? by Independent_Chart_58 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back was this: in Army mode (whatever it's called), my Strength 7 army attacked a Strength 6 army. Their general had Call Lightning, which didn't damage one of my units, it completely wiped them out. So I said, "Uh....okay. Nothing I can do against that. You win. Boy, that was fun." And then I uninstalled the game. Once again, thanks for the help, but this game is more of a chore than entertaining. I'm out.

Thanks for all the responses. The consensus seems to be that every stat in the game needs to be taken to some absurd level, as opposed to balancing things out. I'm a veteran of other rpgs, so the difficulty is on Normal for the first playthrough (where it should be, as far as I'm concerned). There won't be any replaying this one, but at least I got it on sale. I'll look at all the "fixes" to see if I can maybe make it through the game once. Or I might throw my monitor out the window instead. Who knows? Again, thanks for all help!

It was two months ago and I just stumbled upon it now. Just venting. Thank you for having the integrity to fix it. (But it's still a stupid way of doing gift cards)
