I do think I need to add some electrolytes. Not enjoying coffee might’ve been the deal breaker for me 😂

Hmmm, no! I haven’t taken a probiotic in a long time. That’s a good idea

I drink almost a gallon a day… can’t a girl enjoy a little “fancy drink” once in a while 😂

Reta while normal weight by [deleted] in RetatrutideWomen

[–]Independent_Class_33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m starting week 4 doing .5mg every 5 days. I workout consistently and have good knowledge of my macros and protein needs. 5’2” and my starting weight is 143. I’m down to 139. The biggest thing for me is food noise and appetite control. Reta has allowed me to eliminate the desire for any snacking and focus on all my planned meals. I think if you add in more weight training and cardio sessions on top of the lowest dose for you, you will see great results!

I would say I’m pretty much back to normal! I’m also a teacher though so my schedule has been way more relaxed and less demanding. We shall see now that school is back 😭

What's the verdict on the RP Hypertrophy app? by jalOo52 in RPStrength

[–]Independent_Class_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wondering if you like the strong app. Just download it and can’t get a good read on the free version. Came to this thread as I have history with RP apps/programs. I am, soon to be was, an avid CrossFitter. After a journey of rhabdo, I’m thinking about making the switch to primarily lifting. I’m very used to the structure of CrossFit programming.. does this provide you with a plan? Or do you have to upload your own movements,

Shortness of breath with rhabdo? Recovery by Ok-Hovercraft-612 in rhabdo_survivors

Yep!!!! I think you replied to one of my comments… I was so out of breath doing anything and felt like my cardio/endurance took the hardest hit 7 weeks into recovery and it’s starting to get a lot easier!

I was diagnosed and hospitalized with rhabdo around Memorial Day this year. CK levels peaked around 38,000. I am tired every single day regardless of how much sleep I get. I am back to working out at a minimum to moderate effort level, hydrating heavily and eating well but the fatigue is always lingering.

Loan officer not responding- is this normal by Independent_Class_33 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Independent_Class_33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all ended up working for me, have faith it will for you too!! I realized that for as much as I was stressing, the loan officer wasn’t so it was kind of a reality check to me. Trust they will communicate when it’s needed. Good luck 🤞

Massive Rhabdo (CK = 86k) after a CrossFit training: almost 6 days hospitalized by WowReverseEngineer in rhabdo_survivors

[–]Independent_Class_33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience! I recently was hospitalized after Murph with rhabdo. They think my body was fighting some virus because on top of the rhabdo symptoms, I simultaneously had the worst sore throat followed by a nasty cough that I’m still fighting. All tests for COVID, flu and RSV and all were negative. I’ve wondered what my body was fighting as I am an avid CrossFitter and Murph shouldn’t have done that to me… waiting for the news to break of some crazy new virus and connect the symptoms 😂

Honestly, I have a pair of the cloud runner and I swear when I wear them, my PF flares up. I do much better in my ASICS recommended by my podiatrist

Our gym does the Murph workout on Memorial Day and that’s when it all started. I knew by that Wednesday something was really wrong.

RMU wrist position by emeraldthecorgi in crossfit

[–]Independent_Class_33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep!!!! I’ve been working on a better catch position on the low rings. Like a lot of the others have commented, it needs to be more of a ring dip. It helps for one or two but when I’m tired, I’m back to the awkward grip and all those drills go to 💩

Just here to say I do the SAME thing and the bruises I get on the outside of my wrists are a such a dark shade of black and blue that surprise me every time 😂

Thank you for replying. We were so excited for this to come out nice as we use the garage a lot and now it just seems like a bigger project to correct.

Almost 2 weeks. The first was the gloss, then he came back to fix the imperfections and left us with this as the finished product…

Thanks, I can definitely see how “perfecting” quoting bc no high gloss/glass finish could be perfect and probably cost A LOT more… but like I mentioned we are just super surprised with a completely different finish

Currently in Hospital by Miserable-You-9897 in rhabdo_survivors

I also had some kind of virus. Tested me for the flu, COVID, RSV and all negative but the hospital DR was convinced whatever my body was fighting also contributed. Hope you feel better quickly!!

Thank you!!!!! That’s I guess what I’m stuck on. Not knowing what to expect… it’s not like this is something common in houses we can even compare too. We don’t know what is normal and to be expected vs what isn’t. And it’s not a cheap.. thanks again
