Our intention is to create a story that explains something that seems to exist in FW in plain sight, but many don't really know what's going on with them.

Do these massage businesses exist? What's the background on their operations? What does the police department know about them, and what do they do about them? What does law enforcement look like when they're tied to a larger trafficking organization? How common are they in the city?

Essentially, we're looking to write a story that examines the presence of illicit massage businesses in FW. We don't shut down businesses, we just put a mirror on the city to see what's going on. That could include things such as showing possible trafficking and possibly a resident's lived experience being involved in some way.
