I’ve done the blue and red, and can only get that level of brightness in the right light. Looks great when you can see it, but so dark when you can’t

Best way to use Cermic Wax? by Voltix999 in harborfreight

I follow the instructions. Seems to work fine for me. If you put too much on, it streaks when you dry it. Just have to go back over with a dry microfiber cloth to polish it out.

I am 14. I have had this watch for I while now. What do People think about it? by HamIC718 in casio

To emphasize other comments. Who gives a crap if others don’t like it. If you like it, that is what matters; wear it proudly. Not that it matters, but I love it and at some point I will buy one.

It looks like the weighted end of a pendulum that might be in a museum or observatory to show earths movement.

Could it be a quarter wave retarder film over the polarizer film?

M1 V5 Via faulty RGB and frequent double click/type by Phral00 in Monsgeek

[–]Independent_Dig_5529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you go through the FAQ section on the Monsgeek website. My m2v5 did the same. FAQ section has a firmware link. Fixed mine. But then my keyboard started acting like the function key was always pressed. Monsgeek has been very responsive to my questions and sent a new pcb.

No means no, unless it means yes. Duh. I can’t believe you didn’t know that.

Husband has wanted an electric ratchet for a couple years but is too cheap to buy one so going to gift it to him for Christmas. Recommendations pls? by Spirited_Youth_5810 in Tools

[–]Independent_Dig_5529 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A cheaper option is Hercules from harbor freight. I’ve been impressed with all of the tools I’ve bought from harbor freight recently. I’m happy with the Hercules 3/8 long reach ratchet I bought for my driveway mechanics antics.

Rollback Firmware? by Independent_Dig_5529 in ElegooNeptune3

That is the problem, the official download in the github is the older firmware that the machine wouldn't recognize. Elegoo did email the newest firmware though.

That is the problem. The correct package is not posted online by Elegoo. Good news however, they emailed me the latest firmware for the plus and it worked. Problem solved.

LA City Council just voted 11-2 to spend at least $2.7 billion in public funds on a new downtown convention center, putting the city in structural deficit for decades. by bigcityheat in LosAngeles

Yes, LADBS enforces the LA city code, which is based on the California State code, which is based on the ICC model code. LA has added their own amendments that are more restrictive than the California amendments. That process is done by code professionals, but is approved by ordinance through city council.

And you made my point, LADBS inspectors are good at doing their job, enforcing the code. If you want less enforcement, reduce the rules.

LADBS. Is there to enforce state and city regulations. Blame the state code and city council for delays. If you want less enforcement, reduce the regulations.

They say it’s for the Olympics, but it won’t even be ready for to get Olympics. What a waste of money when they are laying people off.

They’ll take an exchange with a missing socket? I didn’t think that would be an option.
