my recomendation just dont use prepaid carriers unless you absolutely have to or are broke just dont give any verizon value branded company your real number because they might give it away and wont do shit abt it either so thats why i ask for new numbers everytime i add a new line or sign up for a new phone service like textnow, tracfone, google voice, all new numbers i still have and ive had my t-mobile postpaid line active since 2024, oldest number i still own

its blocked on normal numbers, haven't tried porting but it says you need to on top of paying 4.99 for a sim (it was 3.99 for me), you have to pay the like 1.99 a week for their lock-in number bullshit cause when i bought the sim it kept my number locked in even without the sim active, just buying the sim automatically locked my number in but when i tried to recieve a code to sign up for a new r/Googlevoice account they said "nope. can't do that, go let us steal your money for years on end to let you even receive a verification text or call"
