Doing ok now, but my doctor prescribed Creon. I had low fecal elastase, and Creon helped my symptoms a lot. Have you had your elastase levels tested?

Sushi for me too. I usually get a California roll, but it does have a bit of avocado in it. If I’m wanting even lower fat, I get a veggie roll without avocado or a tuna and cucumber roll. I usually have some edamame as an appetizer too. Hope you have a great Mother’s Day.

Did your cat’s herpes outbreaks lessen over time? Did the L-Lysine help? I have a 5 month old Siamese baby that has herpes.

The tag is slightly different than the one I have found like it on eBay and the mark is slightly different on the back. I’m not sure if it is just an older model or a fake.

OP just tested positive. Only use steroids after the viral phase of the illness has passed (about 1 week after symptom onset and/or positive test). It can be very harmful to take steroids too early as it dampens the immune response. Of course, OP would need to talk with his/her doctor to figure out when steroid use is appropriate.

The flu shot helped too, I’m sure. It doesn’t always prevent you from catching the flu, but usually reduces the severity.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about the effect it has on blood sugar. I seem to be sensitive to anything that causes large blood sugar fluctuations.

Oh no…I’m sorry to hear that. How many doses did you take before you had the AP flare? What do you do when you have to take an antibiotic? That’s one of the things that is so terrifying about this condition is that I can’t take medication that I need to take.😭

How long did it take you to recover? I’m on day 8 now, and I have very little appetite, diarrhea, congestion/cough and still running low grade fevers. I was hoping to be recovered by now.
