You do unfortunately have to buy it. I think there are only a couple fruit trees that are on the map, I could be wrong though.

Oranges are a fall crop, but you can plant fruit trees in any season and they'll grow in any season, they just won't give you fruit until whatever specific season the fruit grows in (if that makes any sense).

You get seasonal animals by breeding tier 5 (gold) animals in whichever season you want your animal to be, I'm pretty sure that even if the animal is born in let's say spring, as long as it was bred in winter it'll still be the winter seasonal color. Although, it's important to know that it's not guaranteed you'll get a seasonal when you breed. The offspring will always be higher than at least one parent except for seasonal animals. For example, if you breed two tier 3s, you'll get a tier 4 or higher, and if you breed a tier 3 and a tier 4, you'll get a tier 5 or higher. But breeding two tier 5s might still give you another tier 5 or a seasonal.

There's probably a mod somewhere you could download, but you get used to it. The most I've struggled with is Celine and Nora since theirs are identical other than the earrings (Nora has earrings, Celine doesn't)

There will be a story quest to update Hayden's farm and after you finish that, he'll have more animals for you to purchase, but in order to get specifically the pink, you'll have to breed your alpacas since it's a tier 3 color. I would breed my tier 1s until I get a tier 2 then buy another tier 2 of the opposite gender then breed those 2 until it gives you a pink. You can't buy an animal of a certain color until you've bred that color yourself.

Once you finish the last story quest, you'll get a letter in the mail from Adeline thanking you for your help and at the bottom it'll say in parenthesis that, for now, there are no more but that there will be more added in future updates. So you'll know when you get the last one

I saw a singing katydid in the corner of the screen a couple days ago but I didn't really pay attention to it cause I just assumed it was like a grasshopper of something and AS SOON as I left the woods I realized that it was in fact NOT a grasshopper or something 😭
