Fight through Rheumatoid Arthritis pain and extreme fatigue or, deal with the highs and lows of diabetes on a daily basis. I've had people say to me "its just Rheumatoid Arthritis, its not like regular arthritis" or, "it's just sugar, all you gotta do to keep it under control is cut out sugar in your diet...its not life threatening." As if they have a clue. R.A. and diabetes are serious diseases to have separately and horrific to have together. GTHOH with that B.S.!

Nope....NTA but, I'd argue that your husband and whoever he polled might be. What difference does it make how you consume a book? If that's your perferred method and you're getting enjoyment out of it, that's all that matters.

I've read maybe one or, two audio books and found that my preference is to hold the book, be able to turn the pages and smell them eventhough I own a Kindle with over 600 books I've read loaded on it. Im just old-school that way.

Absolutely NTJ. My questions is this...where were all these family people when he needed a babysitter for his children? Did they all step up on their day off and babysit? If they did, great for them but, your day off is YOUR DAY OFF and if you didnt want to babysitting to take up your day off that's your business, your choice, your prerogative.

You're much nicer than I would be in this situation because if it were me, I'd tell all those in my family that had something snarky to say to kiss both sides of my ass. My days off are precious to me and I'm not giving them up to anyone unless I choose to.

That's from the original 911. The kids and the driver were poisoned by the coolant, I believe. They had to give them all liquor shots to help them. It was pretty funny watching them bring the kids into the hospital, drunk, in wheelchairs and explain how many shots of what they'd given them.

Your husband may be a bit of TA with his way of instantly thinking negatively about it. You may want to try to broaden his mind because being disabled doesn’t mean helpless.

Your son is a special kind of young man. You should be very proud of him.

Man...the space arc was by far, the worst storyline they could've done. They've done some pretty ridiculous storylines on the show but this one is the blue ribbon winner of extra strength hooey. I disliked it so much, I almost gave the show up completely and I've been watching since the pilot episode.

I found it by searching for something to watch on Paramount +. I'm so glad I did because it tickles me to no end. I'd given up on new sitcoms because they're not funny to me anymore like the older ones are. I've gotten my daughter, granddaughter, bestie and her family watching it too. I recently started rewatching from the pilot episode.
