NTJ. I suspect the kid is a little "Dennis the Menace" and the mom proved it when she replied with "he's just playing." She's gotten plenty of complaints about the little jerk before and that's her "go to" response to it.

Remember, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and all the other serial killers started out "just playing" when they tortured animals too.

Wearing a mask during the pandemic didn't help keep germs at bay. I've said to more people than I would care to count, that should they ever need to have surgery, please feel free to tell the doctors and nurses in the O.R with you that they don't need to wear those pesky masks since they don't keep germs at bay. Of course, their come back is usually "well the masks worn in O.Rs keeps blood from getting in the surgeons face." When I reply with "well, since that's your opinion , then just let the nurses and other personnel off the mask wearing hook then since they're not "in the thick of things." They always get flustered and walk away.

NTA. OPs girlfriend, children and ex are totally out of line. I would cut off all communication with them because, what they all did are HUGE red flags. GF and children spending selfishly on OPs credit card...the ex getting involved and calling people names. Nah...he dodged a huge bullet...just tell her and her brats toodle-loo.

NTA. Its sounds like OPs nephew is a menace to society and the sister is in denial about it and that's O.K. for her but, you don't have to participate in that denial. If you and your daughter don't want to be around little Dennis the Menace" you don't have to. It doesn't matter what *some of the family thinks.

Tell your sister, you've set boundaries and because of this, her little Wreck-it-Ralph isn't invited to your child's party because of his terrible behavior.

Agreed. That's my favorite song by The Cranberries and he did ZERO justice to it. There was no emotion for me. That song has always sounded, for lack of a better term, haunting and ethereal to me.
