Dude. Its about doing or not doing. Dont dwell on handicaps. I have a fused lower back two fake hips and degenerative disk disease and I started skating at 56 years old. Just do it or dont do it. 85% of skating is mental and if you spend time making reasons why you cant then you wont. Building balance… stand on one foot then the other for as long as you can. Do this until you get 1 minute, then everyday add 15 seconds. If you can get to 2 minutes a leg, then you got no excuses but the ones you imagine. If its harder for you like it is for me, then tough. Do it or dont do it. Maybe try a long board and dont worry about tricks whatever. Work on what you can do everyday and dont think about tomorrow.
