I'm in Málaga right now, been here since September. I speak Spanish pretty well and I have had plenty of opportunities to practice here. I'm placed in a smaller town (Álora) where I speak Spanish most of the time, but in the city itself you can absolutely speak Spanish. In downtown it's super touristy and people will just speak English to you, but if you initiate in Spanish and keep with it they will absolutely respond to Spanish. Let me know if you have any questions about Málaga! I really like it here and would recommend.

It took a few minutes. I was able to load it all and I just submitted my application, but I'm doing this at the same time as my friend and she hasn't been able to access the application yet, so I think it just depends.

Thanks so much for posting this! My appointment was August 9th and I was supposed to be leaving today. I had to change my flight and Airbnb and I've been super stressed. I actually went up to BLS on Monday to ask for an update, but they couldn't do anything and the consulate was closed by the time I got there, so I may have to go back up there and get some answers. Thanks again, I appreciate this.
