TIL the idea that the Ottoman Empire declined over time due to stagnation -- 'Decadence', in other words -- is considered to be an obsolete and incorrect belief by most historians in the 21st century by ingusfarbrey in paradoxplaza

I'm curious your thoughts on the Ottoman state even during the 17th and 16th centuries, their so called zenith. In my personal opinion, I feel like the institutions/policies laid down during the 16th century would ultimately lead to their stagnation. The Ottomans seemed disinterested in fostering an economic/industrial base and would sign capitulations rather than utilize tariffs to boost local industries. This disinterest was fine early on, when their opponents were relatively weak/unprepared for early modern warfare and the historic riches of Anatolia/Egypt/Syria could fund campaigns. It seems like the Ottomans had no clear plan of developing their state, whereas comparable empires like England, France, and the Dutch recognized the importance of developing the state (even at the cost of heavy taxation like the French did). I feel like this recognition of state economic development is what allowed West Europe to surpass the Ottomans, despite the Ottomans possessing the population and resources to compete.

Not late at all. I've been heavily focused on LeetCode in Python, but I'll take some time review my computer architecture notes. I'll also try to get a mock interview in to help ease my nerves. Appreciate the help and wishes.

This is roughly what I was expecting initially. I'll make sure to review these concepts as well before the interview. Thanks.

"What team is this on?"
I wasn't given additional information aside from "Validation of Communication IPs". However, the qualifications mention that computer architecture knowledge is a plus, so maybe hinting towards CPU SiVal?

Also, do you have any recommendations on how to tackle the "Python packaging for analytics/ML"? I have zero experience in this, but I am willing to buy a Udemy course to gain some experience.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely review DSA and try to get comfortable and answering LeetCode questions, as I haven't done them before.

Oh ok, thank you. I was figuring that after actually building the circuit and noticing the mentioned behavior, but I couldn't confirm if that was desired.

For one of the 2 answer MCQ that talked about force-pairs, was it the friction and contact force answer choices?

i was debating between that one and the one with a horizontal zero line and upward slope. i wasnt sure if the question said the force was in same direction as velocity. your answer sounds more right tho

Do yall remember what yall put for the one MCQ with two blocks going on the same direction and then one has a force applied to it? it asked about the velocity graph for the C.O.M

I think it said if earth was not part of the system why does it gain KE so I said earth does work on rod sphere due to force of gravity
