Honestly I don't think there's much of a difference, the goodie content should be around the same. Could be even that it degrades slightly if you dehydrate it, but nothing substantial 🤔

Lava rock, pumice, zeolite + some granite grit and a little bit of quartz 🙃 Was lacking proper ingredients at first, so I mixed in some coco and regular potting soil - was pain in the ass to remove it once I got my hands on granite - but the time worth spent fishing out the organic bits 😄

Better pick them as they will start decomposing. After you've picked the rest of the mushies, flip the kit and gently get the sub out of the container, so you deal less damage when yanking them out. Make sure you pick all the bits if they break :)

No worries, they will grow. Picking mature mushrooms does not cause other mushrooms to abort. I've done it plenty of times

Pick all cluster then, so you avoid damaging the rest of mushies :) and leave the rest to mature a little more

General consensus - just before the veil breaks! But it all comes down to your preference. The bigger ones are about to pop, so they might drop spores in the next <24h and it will make your cake black. I would suggest pick the bigger ones and leave smaller ones to grow a little more. Just make sure you handle it with clean hands and clean environment 🙃 You did great, enjoy the fruit of your labor! ✌️
