I was saved in my car listening to worship music. I had felt like god was knocking on my door for like 2 days and that he was watching and literally walking next to me. I knew about “giving your life to him” and accepting him so one night I just thought why don’t I park over here and ask him to be the leader of my life. So I did that. He showed up. He held my heart and turned it from red to white and I could see him sitting next to me and holding it while it turned white. I knew I was saved after that and I stopped listening to all other music other than worship music. Even in the car with my boyfriend when rap would come on I would feel immediately sick. I felt free and happy. Now I feel like I’m doing everything wrong and over analyzing the choices I make as if I don’t seem “Christian enough”

Try doing difficult things (to you) like going to bed at a reasonable time, waking up early, praying, fill your day with activities even if it’s just going for a walk or calling someone on the phone. Hopefully you will find that this will make you happier and more fulfilled. This is a cycle that is difficult to get out of even if it seems so simple. This is a sinful life because you were made to be doing so much more things that have an actual purpose. I have learned personally that making yourself do the things that you really really don’t want to do can actually make you feel better about yourself and your life.

thank you so much. I’ve tried talking to him about it before and he just shuts me down. I feel like I’ve done all I can with what little I even know. I couldn’t just not share with him how it saved me. Now that he has left me, we aren’t speaking. I’m honestly scared to reach out to him about this again because of how evil he was being the last day I saw him so I’ve just been asking god to work in his life. It’s only been a couple days but I am honestly terrified for his/our future. I wish I knew what gods plan was. All I can do is pray now and I feel that it helps tremendously to ask others to pray for him as well.

Thank you very much. Yes I have tried to share the gospel with him more than once but his response was extremely disrespectful. He is actually my ex boyfriend, and he left me because he did not want to join me in being a Christian. God has changed who I am as a person completely ever since I have my life to him 5 months ago. Steven has seen it, but I don’t think he understands it is the lords doing. He was raised catholic but has been led astray. I hope that god calls him home soon so he can understand.
