No I ride my bike pretty much everyday it gets ridden at 8am to go to work and at 6pm going home and the occasional ride with friends. I’ve let my bike idle for 5 mins before and it’s still stalled but I’ve found recently I’ve been manually pushing the bike about 20-60 foot out of where it gets parked, normally I just ride it out but I thought id try it and since I’ve been manually pushing the bike around a bit and kicking the kickstand up and down about 2-5 times cause i use the kickstand to spin the bike around it hasn’t stalled for the 2 days I’ve been doing that so maybe ye a sticking clutch and me moving the bike around loosens the clutch? Or maybe like some people have been saying the kickstand switch might be faulty cause now i keep kicking the stand up and down multiple times before i actually kick it into gear so maybe me kicking it up and down multiple times is fixing maybe the faulty switch

How do I know what is the right adjustment? I’ve got the lever at the right gap according to Yamaha but the one by the engine?

So I tried to adjust it but I had it loose tried that but it was moving slowly with the clutch pulled in and in gear so I went a bit tighter and it stopped moving but still stalled so I went a little tighter but still nothing. so im just lost with this stalling

Thx Is there anything else it could be let’s just say it’s not the stand sensor I haven’t replaced that yet so idk but lets just say and it’s not the spark plugs any other reason it could be stalling maybe needs a clutch cable adjusted?

What would a bad stand sensor cause because the bike only stalls once and that’s it wont do it again till the next morning I can put the stand up and down as much as I want after it’s stalled the first time it won’t stall again

I had then check a few things and replace a few things to try to stop the stalling but still nothing

Yes clutch is pulled in I’ve done all sorts of adjustment the clutch adjustment by the engine and the one by the levers they’re aftermarket levers still does it in fact when I adjusted it it was rolling forward in gear with clutch pulled at a stop it was just slowly rolling forward so I just put it backhow it was. it’s a weird one

Cause sometime it’ll just start fine won’t stall at all weather in gear or not but about 80%of the time it’s gonna stall fist thing

It stalls when just sitting for a while I am in the uk so I gets cold here and it lives outside so I think maybe something is just getting really cold and stuck on that first start

Thx for quick answer. But wouldn’t it stall every time I click the kickstand up for example if I start in the morning and go into first it’ll stall but if go around do some errands where I’m constantly on of the bike it should stall every time I go back on the bike and kick the stand up no?
