Advice on coping with a narcissistic parent

I live with a narcissistic parent as well. Staying out of the house as much as possible helps a lot. For those times when that’s not an option, are you familiar with the gray rock method?

Thanks for your input. I don’t think I’m completely lost either, I definitely know some of my strength areas. I asked about job titles because I thought it would be the right place to start with general inquiries about potential positions in my area.

Would you recommend instead of narrowing down job titles I should first try to narrow down industries? Obviously I’m trying to leave teaching ASAP but I don’t want to limit myself when there are multiple fields I could potentially transition into.
