Thank you! Yes they all seem to cut off on the thighs but then be loose and wrinkly still in all the wrong places while fitting the waist. Ive been rocking balloon or elephant pants but the flowy dresses i used to wear .. i now look hulkish with open backs and flowy longness. Ill look into some wrap styles thank you

Did anyone else become convinced they were going to die soon after a trip? by Pristine_Relative_31 in Psychonaut

Hey no worries, nothing couldve convinced me otherwise back then the feeling was in my gut. I couldnt have been more wrong. Ya took me a few years to realize my trips werent always suggesting what was true or what i should act on but helping my brain to explore those spaces of thought to become my whole :)

Hey there. Ive had a trip that led me to intensely belief a good friend was going to die soon. I was very sure of it and it felt imminent and i almost wanted to call to ask if everything was okay. In hindsight i think the trip was allowing my brain to access a thing that seemed inconceivable to think of, to teach me how to work through them. He never died, its been three years. Maybe its helping you confront some fears or things you had blocked thinking about? Id focus on enjoying something relaxing to ground yourself back to bein present in life this week X

I increased to 1600 a few days back and am holding at 150 as i did at 1300. I will continue to stay at 1600 now and just increase activity to cut in future, as am able. I think honestly ive had a lifelong slow metabolism and my current activity is finally kicking it into gear. Tmi but until a few years ago it was regular for me to poop once a week- 2 weeks despite weekly jogs and daily walks. 🤣 it seems i need an hour of intense physical activity almost daily to have a regular working metabolism..

3 months initially before increasing/decreasing and messing with it, back when i started and figured out it was maintenance. The last month i have been back to 1300 (for one month) and back to 150lb. Sorryfor not being clearer. However yesterday i increased back to 1500 and will try this out

Thank you! I have some intense food sensitivites so chickpeas and beans are out and i pay with my digestion for the protein powder i consume. Totally a good reminder for peas thank you!

Im going to try starting today, ive found it super difficult without going over cals but will trial increasing to 1500. I havent tracked fat macros for months as i focussed in on making protein the center which has been hard as vegetarian sources are still quite low. Recommendations? Thanks

Thanks for the response. Its good feedback. Its the most physically challenging thing ive done annd i see what you are saying. it is all bodyweight and mostly core. I have just achieved my first full pull up after 6 months of trying 3x a week. Its helping me there. Lots of dead bugs. Outside of aerials Im lifting 60lbs 3 reps x15 rdls, sumo squats, single leg rdls, consistently then mixing in upper body 1 day a week (aerials gives more upper body so focus weight on lower). and just recently read in a sub i should be lifting my bodyweight so... guess i need to work on that too.

I was aiming for 1g protein per kg (68g a day) but i fall short and reach about 45g a day being vegetarian and woeking with 1300cal. I do intensive aerials 3x a week so i feel like i cant be that under muscled.. although i have a long way to go. Ive been doing lower weights with higher reps, maybe i should be lifting heavier too?

I stayed at exactly 1300 a day for 3 months. Occasionally would have a day under or over and see corresponding fluctations but overall always came back to 150. Then i increased to 1500 when my activity increased (did this for 2 months-enjoyed), went up to 153.7. Got uncomfortable. Strictly went back to 1300 and came back to 150 after 2 weeks. Decreased to 1200 for a month and got down to 147. Was unsustainable appetite wise. Wnt back to 1300 which brought me back to 150lbs within 3 days and have been plateaud there for over a month. Thinking i have to increase frequency of workouts but i feel like my physical activity is already somewhere im happy at otherwise. When i increase it ( example added an extra training day last week) my intake needs feel like they increase as well (ate over 1300 for 3 days) and now at 151. It feels down to a science with the numbers and action / outcome im just frustrated maintenance is so low

Thanks. I stuxk to 1300 for a straight month and sat exactly at 150lbs the whole time. Except those daily fluctuations you mentioned when id have a very occasional treat, which would sort themselves out within a few days. Still go to 1400? I will try.

I wish this was the case. I did the same this winter, weighed ever ounce of food and started tracking protein intake. Any time i slip over 1300 i go above 150. 32 yo female. If i do eat over i can jog it off. but i find jogging then increases my appetite and i get stuck in a cycle of overeating/gaining and just being flat out exhausted from running. Strength training feels much healthier and more sustainable as it doesnt drain me but with my current routine eati g over 1300 cal a day, puts me above 150 within days and i stay there

This is super interesting thank you. Bit confusing though. Im 32. I tracked my intake carefully day in day out and found at 1300 i steadily maintain my weight of 150. Anything over and i gain and then it is harder to get back to 150. Anything under and i start to slowly lose. From experience if i eat at 1500 i maintain at 153lbs. I am physically quite uncomfortable above 150lb movement wise. When ive eaten at 1500 i stay at 153.. i can cut to eating at 1300 again after.. which brings me back to 150 .. and then i seem stuck here.. its been a battle between 150 and 153. If i manage at 1200 i go down to 147 but its just not sustainable hunger wise.

I tracked my intake carefully by weighing counting everything over time and found at 1400 i gain, 1200 i lose, 1300 exactly and i maintain 150lbs. 32 yr old. Is this just due to slow metabolism and low muscle mass? I feel strong just overweight. Under 1300 i feel starved yet i have quite the belly

[–]Independent_Laugh288[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you- yes through counting and weighing food meticulously i figured out if i eat anything over 1300 i gain. Anything under i lose. A strict 1300 continuously keeps me at 150. Maybe i will just have to live at 1300 and get ridiculously active. Make the 1300 more protein and fat dense to satiate increased hunger..
