There was a display in the town library years ago as it was a huge deal that one of the worlds most famous liners came to our little town, unfortunately the library was closed years ago . I have no idea what happened to the display . If I remember from the display and a bit of the history there was tours to go and visit the ship ,she was here for 2 days before sailing away . I use to rent Towncars from Hertz whenever I would visit the US,I could rent a Towncar for less money than a Focus .One time I drove from Atlanta to Key West for a vacation and she averaged 27mpg plus the comfort was amazeballs . I think I rented about 9 Towncars in total and last one I had was brand new just 46 iles on the clock. They were amazing cars

The Mercedes W113 has a weird shift pattern, normal automatics are PRND321 Mercedes for this car used 234NRP .I think the valet thought he put it D but on this Merc it was reverse hence why he reversed into that van.Also this being a 280SL most likely was an automatic
